If u think Hansen is a good player tell me what has made him a good player?
What has he done for the nth melb footy club?
U wont be able to name more than 2 things!
1. His mo.

2. His goofy nature.

3. He's from Nar Nar Goon.

There.

Mate i totally agree with u we are getting no where at the moment we need to pick up a big timer that can show the kidsw the riopes with harvey
I dont like any of the trades u have put up i would like to trade rawlings & Hansen & thomas for Taylor walker & a 2 or 3rd round draft pick or go to another club and pick up a expeirenced player for the 2or 3 i put up i would keep macca tho!
Grimes would be one of the first picked in a combined North and Melb team.

hansen has great hands and takes good contested marks. Was very good last year with 5 goals agaisnt port, 4 against the cats and another 4 against stkilda.
He is very athletic and is always in the top 5 in our 3km time trials.

btw how is unlisted going this year?

Who are you and where did you come from?

Because I want you to go back there and never bother me again.

There would be a good dozen players in our side that would get in Melbourne's best 22.

Grima - No. Frawley is a long way ahead of Grima or Thompson and Rivers has been in good form this year.
Hansen - Yes.
Petrie - Yes.
Ziebell - Would be lucky to get onto the bench, injuries aren't his fault but you can't put a guy in there just because he had a good debut season in 2009.
Harvey - Unfortunately yes.
Thompson - No.
Goldstein - On the bench behind Jamar.
Wells - Yes.
Rawlings - ROFL
Swallow - Yes.
Adams - Who?
Bastinac - Yeah I'd have him on the bench.
Greenwood - No.

I also expect Delaney to eventually be a better key defender than Warnock.

Warnock isn't AFL standard so that won't be hard.

Grima - No. .

I should have stopped reading here.

Adams - Who?

My decision was vindicated here.

Seriously:

Adams would comfortably make it.

Thompson would make it.

Grima would **** it in.

Also, Goldstein is ahead of Jamar whether you like it or not.

Rawlings/Ziebell/Greenwood debatable (so I'll give you that) - I would have thought with the reaming Greenwood gave you guys last year you'd have him in.

I'm amazed as to how these 7 blokes keep beating Melbourne.

You do realise Bail, Morton, Maric, Bartram and Jones have played most of the season for you?

Did he say .. next week?

EDIT: For Werribee.

Good to see Ben Mabon chasing H around the oval. Kids got talent.

H could take Hansen's spot but certainly not his role. H forward pushes Dish further up the ground for longer periods. Methinks a new forward set up is on the cards.

I wouldn't be using West Coast as the bench mark, Cox and Nicnat are freaks.

Geelong, Carlton and Hawks all use one ruckman and rely on a key forward helping out, as we have done with Drew. Collingwood use a bit player in Brown. If H goes forward that means we have Hansen, Edwards, Drew and H in the forward line. We'd get caught out on the rebound.

The ruck hasn't been a problem for us so unless H can add something to the forward line then I cant see why we would take away some midfield run.

He must come back in as soon as fit. Look at WCE..

Nic Nat, Cox, Lynch, Kennedy. I think Tim Watson was saying how having this many talls allows them to set up their defense really well against teams trying to kick over the zone their forwards play. They have multiple talls to take the mark and kick back into attack where another tall is fighting for the inside 50 mark.

Petrie, Hansen, Goldy and McIntosh could play this structure too with the only difference being Nic Nat's midfield speed compared with our lot.
