Paul Spargo debuted for North in a final against the Bullies. I'm not against it, and if Goldielocks serves up the same shit that he has been during the last two weeks.Daw would be a better option or he couldn't do any worse, actually he would be better.I'd back-Daw to take contested marks over Goldstein any day.
There it is and there you are. Daw couldn't perform any worse than what Goldy has over the last 2 weeks.

Might not be the best idea.

But maybe a slight step up from playing Gastro-Goldie alone against a 7ft beast when a decent spot in the final 8 was up for grabs.

its not the worst idea... but it wont happen.... had the chance to get a run against GWS... that would have been good.... im hoping he is ready for somewhere around round 3 next year... it will have to be a home game... will get a decent crowd just to see him play....

Daw would be too much of a risk and the club would get whacked by all and sundry if we end up losing.
If Pedo is Ok, would go with him as he can switch between forward/ back/ ruck and we will have more flexibility if Goldy gets thumped at the stoppages. Problem with Goldy is that if he gets caned in the hit outs he drops his bundle all over the ground and Pedo showed last year that he could at least compete around the ground.
I think Delaney will remain in the starting line up especially if they go with Kennedy, Lynch, Cox/Natanui combo up forward even with Narni and Hunter playing.
Drew needs to start leading again as he has been stagnant for the last few weeks. Would rather Lachie dropping onto the goal square.

It's a risk.

But a tantilising risk, nonetheless.

I don't think it will happen.

But if it did happen, I would not rubbish the coach.

It would take massive balls, and if it came off, he would look like a genius.

All in all, I wouldn't do it.

Can Daw perform at All Australian nominated level that Goldy did last year and at times this year?

And your point is?

I'm sorry I must have missed the bit about us playing a final on the weekend and that we need players who are actually going to perform at a higher level than poor.

What do you have against Goldy?

So your point is what? Majak no good? What? Spit it out.

As for Goldy I have nothing against the guy. I have concerns over aspects of his game and his recent form. It doesn't mean I hate the guy. All I want is the best for the NMFC.

Irrelevant anyway as he would be picked to combine with Goldstein, not in place of him.

If anyone is still clinging to some bizarre hope, Maj actually can't be elevated now. The deadline has passed for the year.

Interesting rule that. What if we got through to week 2, and Goldie went down?
