A few posters may final realize that maybe winning against the Suns last year was not as bad as they believe. Missing out on Ried and getting Colby not that bad at all.
Yeah I agree. Never deliberately lose games anyway! But you would have had Reid and McKercher. Pick 1 & 2 right after the McKay compo would have been after your first pick? I think it's Duursma that wouldn't be at the club, but he will be a great player too. Has showed a lot.

Not technically the fastest in the league (yet) but I challenge anyone to find a player that can run as close to his top speed for as long as this kid. Electric pace, great game. Thinking of him Wardlaw, Sheezel etc being the 22+ support shows to LDU is the stuff of dreams.

I'm looking forward to seeing him in the GF Day sprint!

Insanely lucky if we manage to turn two lacklustre years and moving on the traitor and the smarter McKay brother into Sheezel, Wardlaw, McKercher & Duursma plus a few other buns in the oven.

Maybe some good management as well as luck in amongst it? At least since the clean out.

As for Colby what can you say? Set and forget 15 year jet.

Oh absolutely good work, more the luck in having one walk out and one the equivalent of the half hearted offer to wash dishes at the end of a party but happily helping him with his bag when he leaves.

More than the possession count or the metres gained or number of bounce was the gut running without the ball and the massive heart and desire to want the ball in his hands when the pressure was on right at the death knell. He had every right to sit back and rest on his laurels and let the senior players dictate the play late in the game but he kept calling for it and taking the responsibility. These are the attributes of a champion.
