Nah that would be before they even jump in the car to go to training.Had obscure NMFC pre season injury written all over it.

When you've got the work ethic and determination that McKercher's got, to go along with the talent.....I have a feeling this kid is going to have those Harley Reid hissy fit throwers eating humble pie in the not too distant future

Watch him at training...it's was pretty warm yesterday, hotter out in the middle...when some started to look it was getting to them, he just ran harder....at the end of the session when they were starting to venture in, he grabbed a footy and looked like he wanted to keep going

Meanwhile Reid turns up to day 1 of preseason training an absolute porker and is now on "off legs training"
Mckercher is the better player of the two anyway. It will only take the media experts 10 years to work this out.
Tbf, we would’ve had Harley and Mckercher…. Yeah… I’ll let myself out….I have a feeling this kid is going to have those Harley Reid hissy fit throwers eating humble pie in the not too distant future
Just different players, I think McKercher is a rarer talent personally.I have been on this bus for a while … quietly as Reid is a highlight machine, but McKercher will stack the numbers, including metres gained.
But no Duursma.Tbf, we would’ve had Harley and Mckercher…. Yeah… I’ll let myself out….
Afl would've snubbed us the magoo pick if we came lastTbf, we would’ve had Harley and Mckercher…. Yeah… I’ll let myself out….
They had gold coast throw the game. They would have taken our first pick off us if we lost that game. I believe it, im certain and im sticking with itAfl would've snubbed us the magoo pick if we came last
He’s going to be the grim reaper as he’ll rip the heart out of the opposition.
This guy in broken play will be huge for us - will probably get most metres gained in the league.
This side is going to be fun to watch
My ambition is higher. I want him to be as good as HarryWill be better than Reid.
There we go, said it.
Reminds me of Boomer - how he always wanted to have a footy in his hands, no matter what he was doing around the club and home. When you've got the work ethic and determination that McKercher's got, to go along with the talent.....

Boomer's ceiling was pretty high. He won more B&Fs for North Melbourne than anyone. Well, except Jas Garner of course. His ceiling is higher than Boomer’s I reckon, just maybe not the 400 plus games.

Beaten only by Carey as the best North Player in the modern era.Boomer's ceiling was pretty high. He won more B&Fs for North Melbourne than anyone. Well, except Jas Garner of course.

This is selling Boomer way short. So to speak. His ceiling is higher than Boomer’s I reckon, just maybe not the 400 plus games.

Both have the scintillating run and passing but Boomer was an elite goalsneak, could stop and pivot in traffic and could overhead mark against much bigger opponents.
McKercher has the potential to be excellent at what he does but I think his skill set is a lot narrower than Boomer's.
Kicked a few but not sure he has 5 goal AFL games in him like Boomer did as a prowling forward. He had no problems kicking goals at Coates level playing as a midfielder.
