Ease up Macca. One of the worst stats i have read, yet alone wondering how you came up with it, Today was rock bottom, had to happen, Coach is gone alot of players will get their DCM no more club what ifs, move on next year. The place needs a broom, the cleaners will start tendering and things will change. Best result for Port today moving forward was loosing today. It now leaves no doubt and i am actually happy with todays result. We will be back.

It's the refusal to blame players, coaches and off-field staff because 'others are just as bad', that has led us into this shit hole. If someone has been shit, I don't care if their team mate was extra shit, they were still shit and should be dealt with accordingly. If it was the likes of Justin 'Once every 4 games I play well' Westhoff and Brett 'once every 4 or 5 games, playing a dud role in a structure that holds back the future works as a quick fix' Ebert wouldn't have gotten a game after 2008 or 2009. And in faux tough guys like Thomas and Logan, 'but they are tough, so what if they couldn't hit catch a grandma with a walking frame'. Yes, we have shit coaches and players, but man our list could have turned over so much dead wood, even with the shit picks we've had for being bad at exactly the wrong time.

Wrong. Dont blame the core playing group. Give these guys a genuine afl coach, a genuine afl board, a genuine fitness regime and they will give us a genuine chance. Yes we need some key personel and some genuine players. The players have had no chance of personal improvement. You Really think they enjoy playing like this? It isnt a matter of who we get rid of, it is more who wants to stay. Have a look at trengroves body language this year, the rest feel the same way. Any one who couldnt string more than three senior games together this year (except for season injuries) Bye Bye.

None of those four I've listed are part of the core group, or should even be part of the list. Even if we got Mick Malthouse, Paul Roos and Bomber Thompson to be our coach and stole Geelong's fitness, along with Brian Cook.

One the things I've hated most, from the Primus era onwards is our doubling down on players who had flaws that were 95% unlikely to be ever fixed. Salopek, Westhoff, Brett Ebert, etc. etc. Off-field this has cost us massively. Keeping a list of spuds together has done nothing except keep us with a list of spuds.

Of course none of those players you have named should still be with us but those were many of the senior players Primus decided to keep around and us the supporters in our stupidity in the off season thought "give them another go". The way we think every off season.

The fact of the matter is the coach is someone who should be a ruck coach and learning off a real coach, instead a specialist coach is our head coach and everyone around him is learning off someone learning back off them. That's what we heard last year and the start of this year how they all have ideas they spread around, nobody is really the head coach here everyone's just learning as they go and hoping for the best meanwhile the players don't have individual training and roles and goals they're just desperately holding on.

Disagreeing. We need to address ALL the problems at the club, not say 'This one is the most urgent so do that only' or spread the blame around so wide, that everyone gets just enough to be able to look and say they understand things need improving, but not going anywhere or really going to change anything.
