A great clubman and a huge reason we were able to build the culture that we did. His body let him down a lot but he leaves the game a 3 time premiership player. Thanks David.

I remember when roaming Brian was doing an interview with Jack Higgins after a game and BT was taking the piss out of him a bit hoping he'd say something stupid and Dave stepped in and said that's enough. Legend.

Dave was one of my favorites and wish he was going around again but Dave has done his usual selfless decision, it's hard to comprehend how someone can play for so long and be able to perform at a top shelf level, averaging one operation every 11 games of footy, but Dave did that and has 3 magnificent medals to show for it.

Has done the no. 12 proud.

Might have 4 / 5 flags if that bloody aquatic monster didn't attack him

All the bet big Dave!! Might even come away with a best & fairest in his retiring year. Has been outstanding this season. Legend of the club.
Terrific contributor on and off the field, will always be remembered as a legend of the club and a man who created such a strong culture for others to follow. Cheers Dave.

Wow ... just saw the news

A key member of our 3 recent Premierships despite being unappreciated my many Tigers supporters for much of his career

Thanks Dave 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
