Re: 45. Stewart Crameri

I'm trying to remember his few games late 2009 as a mid, I know they weren't spectacular. But, with a lot more fitness and confidence behind him, could we see him rotate in there at times? Another big body to help Jobe and Hocking. Of course it would be dependent on someone else playing that third tall role, i.e steinberg or Manson :)

I'd be happy to see how he goes in the midfield during a few nab cup games.

Re: 45. Stewart Crameri

Crameri played his first game in 2010. Got 17 touches and averaged 17.6 over his 3 games that season. Didn't set the world on fire, but still managed to find the ball reasonably well. He could rotate through the midfield, but is much more dangerous up forward.

Re: 45. Stewart Crameri

Very well suited to the role they played him this year where he is a difficult match up because of his size and athleticism. Absolutely critical to our forward line moving forward

Re: 45. Stewart Crameri

I know our midfield is struggling but if the big fella is required in there then we are in more trouble than I thought.

He is certainly going to be among the first picked forward each week but, for the sake of diversity, we could do a lot worse than throwing him in at the odd centre bounce (especially if we continue to go through phases of centre clearence impotence).

I'd also look at doing the same thing with Hurley when he is having a quiet game. I'm not saying that either should get extended time in the midfield but for the sake of getting the ball forward from a centre bounce it would have an impact.

Not a bad idea, wouldn't be averse to either of those ideas. Just getting the bigger bodies in the clearances for a bit would be great.

Re: 45. Stewart Crameri

i'm being negative but i have a feeling crameri played above himself in 2011 - he may not be as good as many hope he is.

how does a player play above himself?

I understand the concept playing less than your full potential.... but above it??

Re: #12: Stewart Crameri - New number

His first set shot looked like a disturbing reminder of last year, launching it into the stratosphere for no good reason.

The second set shot was much, much better. Very direct. We see more of those rather than the launching pad, and I'll be chuffed.

Re: #12: Stewart Crameri - New number

Does anyone have a picture of Stewie's said "Welsh-esque" haircut?

Would have a look at the videos but good old Bigpond is dying in the arse again.

Edit: nohomo
