Re: #12: Stewart Crameri - Praise for Rounds 2 & 3

I love how a lot of 'experts' had him delisted at the end of the 2010 season.

In defence of those "experts", that idiot Knights played him as an on baller and he looked massively out of his depth at AFL level. Just goes to show how much of a difference playing someone in the right position can make!

Heard a rumour around the traps. Crameri amazed medical and fitness staff this preseason with his aerobic capacity for someobe of his weight and height so much that they did medical tests on his muscles. They realised the reason he can run so well is because as a junior he was very lazy and never pushed his abilities. Therefore he has fresh body that can be taken to New levels

Duigan will probably get the job on Crammers this week, but he looks like an awkward matchup for Carlton. I can see him kicking 6 this week.

I don't know how many of you are MMA watchers, Crameri as an athlete reminds me so so much of Cain Velasquez, hearing this about Crameri not pushing himself just reminded me even more of him.

Velasquez:
185cm, 112kg, very stocky, elite athlete, heaviest fighter at his training camp which is one of the best in the world, also has the best cardio for a heavyweight in MMA. He's extremely calm when he fights, and can throw a flurry of punches and not be even slightly tired from it. His gameplan is usually just out cardio his opponents until they have no defence then knock them out.
Didn't start doing sport until he was 23, was the fat kid of the class who couldn't be bothered going to gym class so he'd not attend.

LOL! Yeah that's the guy that knocked Lesnar out, he just survived the early hurricane of takedown attempts and beat his head in when his arms were tired from all of the acid build up in a man that size.

Re: #12: Stewart Crameri - Praise for Rounds 2 & 3

Velasquez did get lit up by dos Santos though, didn't he? ;)

Back on topic, Calamari is a ripper. He's just a really clever, awkward mid-size player. Can mark, can crumb, loves a goal and gets plenty of shots off. I like him, and think the Bombers have found a really good "freebie" there.

Re: #12: Stewart Crameri - Praise for Rounds 2 & 3

Thanks Faz, I reckon Robinson is a ripper ;)
Everytime someone tackles him they do a knee! Happened to Ball.... twice.

Re: #12: Stewart Crameri - Praise for Rounds 2 & 3

I absolutely love big stewie! plays his heart week in week out. He is actually very quick off the mark for someone his size and is VERY strong. Has no problem getting the ball and his decision making is very good! just needs to improve his kicking and he could become an elite forward in the competition.

Re: #12: Stewart Crameri - Praise for Rounds 2 & 3

He was an absolute beast today, practically led the line by himself for over half the game. Kicking was disappointing but more importantly he made a contest every time and the 10 shots at goal speaks for itself!

Re: #12: Stewart Crameri - Beastly performance V Carlton; but needs to learn to kick

Right now if Crameri holds his form will be All Australian, It will be odd if he does with Watson still not having 1.
