OK, I've removed about three pages of posts.

Please do not use this thread to speculate about Oliver's private life – medical or otherwise.

Regardless of the veracity of your rumour, or what you know/have heard, if it's not public knowledge, just don't post it.

I don't want to turn this place into Demonland, but if you can't see the potential harm that this sort of rumour-spreading can cause (regardless of your intentions), then perhaps it's best if you take a bit of a break.

Thanks.

You chose to visit the main board, no one to blame but yourself.
Every time I do it, I say to myself "Well, I won't be doing that again." Wonder if I can give myself a board ban.

Your an addict, you know the MB is bad for you but you can't stop. Check yourself into rehab. I'll call Max and see if his downstairs futon is available when you get out.

Only snapped the windscreen wipers of people who had were too cheap and lazy to replace their worn down wiper blades, was simply concerned about the potential of an accident in a storm.

Think he has found his next job after football:

On a serious note, what a f-wit.

Dees star Clayton Oliver was with Joel Smith on night he was rushed to hospital

With Demons players called for urgent talks at the club upon their return, it can be revealed Clayton Oliver was with teammate Joel Smith the night he was rushed to hospital.

Clayton Oliver was with embattled teammate Joel Smith the night he was rushed to hospital in an ambulance.

It can be revealed the two great mates were together – believed to be at Smith’s house – last week when Oliver had what the Demons described as a seizure.

It’s believed Oliver was not tested for illicit drugs when he was admitted to the Western Health hospital in Footscray.

He was released hours later and the Herald Sun understands that Oliver hit his head in what the club described as a “medical episode” but was cleared of any serious head injuries.

The Herald Sun revealed on Thursday Smith has been provisionally suspended under the WADA anti-doping code after testing positive to cocaine.

As the Demons face scrutiny about their culture, it can also be revealed Melbourne players, who are on leave, have been sent text messages from the club asking for urgent talks when they return.

The AFL is closely monitoring the Melbourne situation.

On Friday the Demons declined to comment.

Smith, 27, was tested by Sports Integrity Australian officials at the end of the Round 23 match against Hawthorn and will face a SIA hearing in the coming weeks.

Smith is expecting to be suspended for three months, which he would serve over summer.

The Demons said last week they are assisting Oliver.

“The club has been aware of and supporting Clayton with his personal circumstances for some time and is committed to continuing to do so,” Club boss Gary Pert said in a letter to members days after Oliver was released from hospital.

“While club leaders focus on the care and support Clayton needs, we also have a responsibility to uphold our strong club culture for the benefit of all our players and staff.

“We have a responsibility to ensure that everyone within the club is committed to meeting the expected behavioural standards of a player within an AFL high performance environment.

“Clayton understands what is expected of him as a professional athlete, as well as the standards and behaviours a Melbourne person is expected to uphold.’’

I think even Johnny English can put 2 and 2 together with this one.
Perfect, Joel Smith will be the ideal scapegoat to pin Oliver's issues on. Our poor Clarry has been led astray.

I once had a drunk friend who after forgetting his wallet on a night out (and thus not being allowed into the club) lost his keys as well and broke into the share house by punching through a window.

He left blood and glass everywhere in the house, (that my other mates came home to find) bandaged his arm, collected his wallet and ID and came back out.

He still wasn't allowed into the club because of his giant, bloodied bandage.

We are no longer friends.

My mate kicked on at Libba's old house some years ago and they had drawn shit all over the walls making fun of Sydney 2016 Grand final players (Kurt Tippett clicks his fingers at waiters).

They also spent the morning smashing in windows with a skateboard.

Footy players are funny.

Who is running the marketing/PR department down there? It’s a debarcle. If they were decent they would have kept it out of the papers. They need to stop throwing Clarry under the bus and accept some responsibility. Coach must resign. He’s been doing Class A for the duration of his employment and now treating Clarry like this. FFS I’m sick of supporting Melbourne. If it wasn’t for Woey’s 2000 season and that flag which Clarry won I’d have not a single decent memory.
Tell me about it, we didn’t even win the Kreuzer cup.
