The thing that excites me the most about both Hugo and MRJ is that with their combination of body size and athleticism, they have *eventual centre square midfielder* written all over them.

Obviously different personalities and disposal style, but Hugo's body type reminds me a lot of a young Matty Knights.

Not sure about that , Matty Knights was a small player similar height to jayden Short and similar build
Ralphsmith physical size is similar to Kamdyn McIntosh /Izaac Smith
Bigger stronger

Matty Knights was like a child prodigy, a kid playing with adults.

Time will tell

Plenty of guys have made good careers when they don't like the hard stuff.
He could carve out a reasonable career.
He just doesn't like it when it's his turn to go
Your talking crap about hugo not liking the hard stuff
your talking about a 19 year old kid thats played a hand full of games and just getting his feet at the level

being rushed in your early games compared to being soft is 2 different things
pull your head in

If Caddy is gone, he'd be my pick to play forward for the rest of the year. He's proven at VFL level that he is goal kicker, has X-Factor, great tackler, has speed and is good overhead. With the trend of flooding forwardlines, having a versatile player such as Hugo could be a huge asset moving forward.

Rate him and would like to see him get another 10 games development next year. Gotta keep finding a way to develop the next generation where we can while still trying to contend next year.

At pick 46 I reckon he will be a real steal in 10 years time.
