The Seahawks going to 2 superbowls in a row is a monumental effort.

I wouldn't be talking Panthers dynasty just yet because they are still yet to have back to back winning seasons under Rivera.

The Panthers aren't a dynasty or an era yet. They are one season. Which is why I compared them to the 2012 Seahawks but said they are better, which they clearly are.

Seahawks should have been the new Patriots but they didn't run the ball - it has already cost them 1 ring and will maybe have cost them more

But I would still call what Seattle's done an era so far

Carolina only averages 11 more yards per game than Denver on offense, and the Broncos have a better yard differential between O and D than the Panthers.

Whoever wins the turnover battle obviously wins this one, as it will be about field position.


I can see it being a 27-13 game with Newton throwing a pick 6 late as he drives to try and tie the game

I'm obviously not going to agree am I. I'm certainly not expecting a blow out or anything but I feel Newtons ability to make plays with his feet ads another dimension to our offense which makes us a tougher opponent for Denver.

Its going to be a tough battle between 2 good defenses. I think if we can get the run game going it will really put us on the right track to get a win.

FWIW it'll be closer than we think. Panthers will win, yes, but something like 28-24.

It's comparable. But the Patriots were bigger underdogs.
