Well that was disappointing.

In a bit of a slump now. We might be top of the Championship but the gap between us and the worst of the Prem is still huge.

True that - though we probably need to worry about going up first haha. 2 losses on the trot definitely bursts the feel good bubble we had recently.

What a woeful Pen Shootout from Toon, but can't complain. Jak kept us in that in the second half and ET, and just can't believe we got through with ten men. Over the moon!!

Unlucky though NUFC Tiger you guys definitely deserved it.

I guess from our perspective we'll be hoping the Hammers win and we get them, we'll be creamed by anyone else. Though I guess we did beat Soton recently.

I guess the silver lining for us is we can focus again on the priority of trying to get promoted

Plus, along with HolyRioli's Leeds lads, we can at least say we were equal last ones standing in the cup from the Championship sides - something to be proud of I guess. Plus we outlasted the Mackems.

In fairness I was mainly focussed on our game but the Leeds fans were regularly getting pretty loud about chances they were having.
