Bendigo are playing in stawell this weekend. Make sure you leave friday night, will only just get there in time for the seniors.

Played for Bendigo on the weekend, by the the club website (http://www.essendonfc.com.au/news/news.asp?nid=6594), he'll play Two's again this week and be in the mix for round 9.

I've read Hurley is 192.5 cm but also that he's 194. On the Bombers site he's listed as 193. Anyone know for sure? Just curious.

• Michael had surgery this week after fracturing his scaphoid in the VFL. He will miss two to three weeks.

Shocking luck for Hurley, wish him all the best.

Very doubtful he will only be out for just the 3 weeks, scaphoid fractures are very painful, especially for defenders who put a lot of pressure on the compressive bones that make up the wrist/hand.

went to training this morning, and Hurley did the full session with Bendigo.

Looked find, was marking normally but had the thumb strapped. Towards the end, asked for his calf to be rubbed down. That was about the extent of his problems.

Would have say would be right to play in 2 weeks after the break.

good news, atleast he's not doing the same injury all the time.
get em all out before he dominates, can't wait for him to play again.

Hurleys injury?

I remember when he had first done it they were saying he would be be out for 6-8 weeks, on the website it says 2 weeks, this can't be right can it or is the injury not as bad as usual?

Sorry guys, as you know I am usually on the ball with this stuff, I have been working 7 days a week due to this swine flu crap!

isn't it a very similar injury to that which lonergan suffered? thats the time frame he'll be out so 2-3 weeks.
