If Freo deserved to be in a Prelim, they wouldn't have lost to your team last season.

North earned their right to play in the prelims. They weren't great tonight, but folks shouldn't forget the great comeback against Essendon and a good win against Geelong.

Well we gave ourselves a chance by getting there.

Ultimately Sydney killed us on the outside. We matched them on the inside for the first half, in fact on all the stats we were very close. Our back line battled hard but there isn't much they can do when bullets are fired in without any pressure.

I'm proud of the guys this season. We made significant improvements and have something to build on on 2015.

So many marking options…all decent sized key position players as well…

Same way Hawthorn dealt with them earlier in the year.
By scoring more than the opposition you are effectively minimising the impact those forwards have. Sydney can go ahead and have 10 kicked between those 4, but Port/Hawthorn, who are typically high scoring teams, need not to worry.
