Just doesn't want to ever waste a possession. It's like every possie is a puzzle he is driven to solve. Sometimes some players look like they feel pressure to make every possession count, but not FOS. It seems like that's the point. That's what he revels in. It really suits AFL level too.
Can’t underestimate blokes that value possession- most of the time they take the safe option. fossy just hits ridiculous shit as well as taking care of the footy. Absolute gem

While he did brilliantly there, I am not sure it was a set play. Far too risky for a kick in. If the mark wasn't taken it comes straight back in. Lucky we have a such a gun on our hands who was able to catch it in game 2
I mean, our last decade set play of kick it long down the line has the exact same result, seeing we struggle to pick up players who take pack marks.

YEARS we’ve watched as our side struggles to get the ball out of D50.

I liked Sheez there but he gave up a bit defensively and McKercher racked it up but gave away even more.

I’m not moving FOS out of the backline until someone rips the spot away from him. He’s showing the kind of balance I once thought TT would bring to the position.

With RHJ and Kerch helping Bailey and Stevens on the wings, and Parker, Simpkin and Konstanty running HF, I think FOS fills a role the team desperately needs.

Had that howler that cost us a goal but there's something special about this bloke. The way he brakes through tackles and the balance he has for a first year player. Can't wait to he goes into the midfield
It was an absolute stinker BUT its his only mistake with the ball in his first 3 games.

Kid has the goods, plus he has a little bit of country mongrel in him.

Persist

Not afraid to get his hands dirty.

Going to improve the more he plays at the level.

So composed for a 3 gamer.

Love that he didn’t go into the shell after that horrific turnover.

I’d love for him to end up being the main distributor off half back. Would much prefer the ball in his hands than Daniel’s at the moment.
He will be a gun mid in a few years time.

He’s played 3 games and is already great in traffic.

Imagine 2 more preseasons and he will be an verging on beastly.

He is the closest thing we have to LDU with the ability to move through traffic.

He's definitely going to be one of our midfielders of the future. Although he can play anywhere, he belongs close to the ball at all times.
