Can even kick long to him, long kicks are fine but they just gotta be to advantage so the guy can run and jump at it like Harmes in the GF.

The thing is, im very like him, Dees fans at the footy have a way of pissing me off generally. Was once seated next to a guy in a dees jumper at queens birthday who called Wona Aaron Davey all game despite the scoreboard telling him it wasn't every time he kicked a goal. Would ask his mate who knew even less than him somehow "how exciting is Aaron Davey?" after Wona kicked a goal ... smh, was infuriating. Think I would have preferred being seated in the Collingwood cheer squad than next to a noob like that.

I generally stay away from the mainboard now. Get in far too much trouble over there.

Pass mark is to split a few packs, compete at ground level and lay some tackles (he's very good at this) and stay involved for as long as possible.

I'm guessing McCartins go to BBB/Tmac. JVR might spend time on Rampe or one of the McCartins when Grundy is on the bench and Tmac is rucking.

Or JVR 2nd rucks and we leave Tmac forward. Hayden McLean probably their 2nd ruck who is just okay, nothing special. JVR v McLean in the ruck isn't a bad matchup.

Cue Robert Walls "throw him in the ruck!"

I imagine he is being brought in to play the second ruck role as he's shown a knack for it at VFL level. The splits will likely be very different with him and Grundy compared to Grundy and Gawn, but I'm thinking he plays 20-30 in the ruck and the rest as the forward responsible for handling the forward 50 stoppages.

Excited to see how he does. It's not an easy game to debut in by any stretch. Sydney are in great form and are usually super organised defensively so I'm quite happy for him to have a quiet game provided he's competing in the air and on the ground.
