And the PHX vs Minne game is the only ESPN game they get all year.

Yep. I'll be glued to it. But then when you suck how much coverage can you reasonably expect.

3 words. Daniel 'Boobie' Gibson

I've actually found a new reason to watch the Cavs this season, just waiting for LeBron to ignore an open Delonte West only for West to pull out a handgun from his waistband and go postal on LeBron and the entire arena and then make an escape on his 3-Wheeler.

NBA: Where the Guards are Armed and Dangerous, but not the Security Guards.

Until you realise that 2 of the 10 games are the same as ESPN (praying i am wrong but last year it was like that for most of the games)

When??

The only time I remember the same game being on ESPN as on One/Ten was the NBA finals, that Onehd got to show on mega-delay.

ESPN has the contract for sourcing games for One, and I know for a fact in the meetings all the OneHD guys just said 'we want Cavs and Lakers' and then went on to say how great Shaq is. Needless to say theyre a tad out of touch.

Nah there was quite a few. I was obviously over exaggerating it though.

Oh God that is depressing.

Found this on the Channel 10 Forum, in regards to ONE HD coverage.

They have a promo on air now for the new NBA season. Has a different Hilltop Hoods song on it. I called them up to see when and what matches and they told me the first few games:

Cleveland v Boston Wed 28 Oct 10.30am
LA Lakers v LA Clippers Wed 28 Oct 1.30pm

Chicago v San Antonio Fri 30 Oct 11am
Portland v Denver Fri 30 Oct 1.30pm

Chicago v Milwaukee Wed 4 Nov 12pm

Cleveland v Chicago Fri 6 Nov 12pm
Utah v San Antonio Fri 6 Nov 2.30pm

Dallas v Houston Wed 11 Nov 12.30pm

People on there seem to suggest that we get all TNT games (http://www.eyeonsportsmedia.com/2009/08/tnt-announces-2009-2010-nba-broadcast.html) - apologies if people already knew this!

Found this on IceTV to ease the pain of waiting. :)

10PM ONE HD
Fri, 2 Oct 2009, 120 minutes, Sport, Basketball
Michael Jordan Olympian and basketballer extraordinaire has been inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. In the '97 Bulls v Jazz G6 match, which garnered a fifth championship for the winning team, Jordan was responsible for almost half the points.

EDIT: And just found another.

10PM ONE HD
Wed, 7 Oct 2009
1999 NBA Final - Spurs V Knicks G5
Hall of Fame inductee David Robinson scored 15 points and 12 rebounds in
Game 5 as the Spurs won their first NBA Championship against the Knicks in
1999.

Righto, I probably didn't notice it because I saw the schedules but I couldn't get the NBA on Ten/One.

Hopefully One goes for most of the TNT games rather than ones that ESPN do cover, and ESPN, well, ESPN. :p

Bonus so far is that if Silencers info from the C10 forum is right, is that they have running schedules for different days. :thumbsu:

Remember ESPN used to do double headers.

Always good.

Will have to clear some hard drive space for taped action.
ESPN Double Headers were the shit.

It sucked when the end of the first game is coming up and how they discuss the 2nd game of the Double header, and then we get cut off :(

Hey brothers.

Couldn't find a better spot to put this, so thought I would try here.

I only have Foxtel IQ, so will need a recorder for Ten HD games. Can anyone make a recommendation on which way to go in terms of a purchase?

Yeah, Foxtel has One (HD or SD), so you can pretty much get every game broadcast to Australia.

OneHD is in the 200s, and One (SD) is the last Sports channel (I goto 601 and go down a channel)
