I'm surprised to see Adcock's name getting bandied about. Hasn't even been mentioned by any Brisbane supporter as an AA selection this year.

His 2007 season was considerably better than this one and he didn't make the team then (although he made the 40 man squad).

He's finding his best form again at the moment, but he's not All Australian standard yet.

Players in bold are no chance at the moment. There are plenty ahead of Adcock and why would Didak jump ahead of others when he has missed 5 games and played poorly in another.

Needs more Scarlett

I like your AA team best PT. Well thought out :thumbsu:

Cheers mate, feels a little criminal not having more Doggies in the team, all in all they have been a very even group this year. Boyd, Gia and Higgins could all stake a claim but really I dont think they would care if they dont get anybody in the AA team they would rather takes wins in September.

Depends what your definition of all Australian is? Is it the best team of the year or the most effective team of the year.

At the moment Didak is the second best player in the AFL behind Gary Ablett Jnr.

His last 3 games quality wise are worth 10 games from other players.

Adcock has jumped ahead of Drummond for consistency and counter punch..

Not sure who you think he is lagging behind?

I’m happy to make Scarlett CHB but that is not his position.

Presti simply has out played Scarlett this year. So it is one or the other and I chose Presti.

But at the end of the day, it is totally opinion based and most people have favourites.

I welcome your ideas.

You have got to be Kidding.

Scarlett has conceaded about the same amount of goals as Presti this year, but what set's Scarlett apart from the other full backs is his attack out of defence, Presti has improved in this area but he's still not on the same ball park as Scarlett.

Jobe Watson and Pendles and a few of the doggies as you pointed out deserve to be in but so many good players makes it hard.

You have got to be kidding?

But.....I'm not suprised to see another Collingwood stating something as ridiculous as this.

Didak plays 3 good games and then suddenly he's the 2nd best player in the league?

Let me guess, after your "HUGE" wins against West Coast (12th), Port Adelaide (10th), Melbourne (16th), Sydney (11th) & Fremantle (15th).....your suddenly a contender?

Oh let me guess now, you can only beat what ever team is put in front of you? But that only counts for the last 5 weeks though.....

You're going to have to accept the fact that your players are not that great and you are not going to win the flag this year.....

You better learn to deal with it.

Anyone who doesn't have LeCras in their side.... Should be told politely that he should be in there. :)

Can you tell me what he has done to deserve selection. Serious question as I know nothing about the bloke except that he has kicked a few goals this year.

LeCras has got some good press because he has done well in a side not performing well, but if you actually sit down and weigh it up, he's definitely behind a few.

IMO these are the small forwards that might be in contention right now (in order):

1. SJohnson
2. Chapman
3. Davis
4. Porplyzia
5. LeCras
6. Higgins
7. Betts (Sliding atm, but still has good numbers)

*4-6 very even atm.
Working into contention:
Byrnes
Didak

Some of these guys also play midfield, but I'm not sure how much the AA selectors take that into consideration.
