Aaron Elari's one from Perth FC that is eligible for this year (24/04/91), but more likely to go next year. Small, nippy mid/flanker slow start to the season, but his 2 games in the finals series vs Swan Districts were very good, particularly his GF.

Did I see somewhere, that immediately after the 2008 draft has been completed, that the Gold Coast will then get to select eleven players from the current 17 year age group from across the country? That will certainly dilute the 2009 draft big time!

Are u talking about Matt Brown?

If so then no chance.

no Mitch Brown from Peel (ruckmen)

and also someone from Perth had a stellar year as a bottom ager is almost guaranteed a spot in the state side next year if he has a solid first 6 games unsure of his name. It might be a Dixon or something. Please confirm anyone

4 Trinity lads on the radar to add to J.Hill, J.Jacky, S.Wellingham, P.Mcginity, L.Stevenson, and a couple of smokeys for this years draft.

Mate, are you for real, do you watch any footy? D. Hayward? Takes him 1 hour to run 100 metres & M.Marsh is the laziest footballer going around. Seems like the more I read this forum, the more it makes me realise that people just don't keep it real anymore. People make up crap, they must either be mates with the players they mention or they are the players making up stuff about themselves.

Well it is a fair effort, although quite concering that the two colt grand finalists only have one player each (SD and Perth)

The two side i know least about thats why i said add any others.

SD will have (Daly, Jetta, Blight, Pearce, Walters, NicNat, Yarran, J.Bennell) all going this year cant see them having another big year but maybe more than 1 is expected just dont know there kids well enough.

Perth were easily the worst district side in the 16's last year and will struggle to produce anything a few kids have come on and i think they will be lucky to have any more than 2 be drafted in 09. Also dont know many of there boys.

They had a dominate year this year because of the 1990 birthday boys,
(Ali Smith, Peedle, Welburn, J.Brennan, M.Mather, Z.Zucconi, K.Goodwin, J.Fiegert)

As for the bloke above
M.Marsh wouldve been top 10 IMO in 09 draft - so much upside
D.Hayward - 1) ruckmen 2) played state 16's 3) did well at state 16's 4) very good tap ruckmen (hes some small chance)

i just see it as giving lads opertunity

The Bewick boys had a standout season but are never AFL quality and were lucky to have played as 19 year olds in colts up against 17 year olds, surely they were always going to go pretty well.
