A place for those of us who have missed in the ballot and just want to try our luck and see if anyone has extra tickets
So post your sob story and good luck.

My story is simply missed all 3 ballots so I'm looking for 2 tickets preferably not standing as my mum is really short

I'm working til 3 today so if someone does pm me and gets no reply you now know why. From then til Thursday I'll be free for any possible savior

*I don't condone scalping and simply started this thread in the off chance someone is looking to get rid of tickets they aren't going to use

Hey BDP here Need 1 ticket to the GF please for me and my partner to go along and cheer on the boys to another flag, We were unlucky in the ballot

My tips are to post this everywhere. Not just on Big Footy go spam crazy. Also don't necessarily ask for a ticket alone. Ask for an MCC Guest Pass - It worked for me in 2007 (it means you have to get up at 4am to line up but who wouldn't for a GF!)

If you know any AFL Full members, give them a call right now. Tickets for them went on sale this morning and they are still available through Ticketek.

Technically they're breaking the rules by allowing someone else to use their memberships, but trust me, I know many many cases of non-members attending the GF on membership cards and have never heard of anyone getting caught.

This is the cheapest package I can find is: (I think the Port Adelaide ones are sold out after being in the SUN. They were $750 for Standard or $800 for Prime)

Looking for 2 tickets. My Daughter and I have missed out again in the ballot. No sob story just bloody sad that there will be thousands there that do not even follow football.

All those people that get free tickets from work or friends and they dont follow AFL

I'm after just 1 ticket.

If i was to be lucky enough to get one, Its going to my Dad.

Arggh I managed to get a mate's full AFL membership was going to buy ticket there and sell mine to one of you guys. However they don't take internet booking and I couldn't get through on the phone till 10:30...by that time all tickets were sold out.

GF ticket SWAP thread

I have a premium ticket Bay M52, row S. That is the Northern forward flank of the Punt Rd end: http://premier.ticketek.com.au/Content/pdf/AFL09_MCG_venuemap.pdf

It's level 1. Unlike most people I'm not a fan of level 1, I prefer to have a better vantage point of the whole ground whereas others like to be close to the action and atmosphere.

Thus I want to trade my ticket with someone on level 2, 2A or even level 3 if it is close enough to the wing and not too far back i.e. a prime ticket.

Anyone?

I would also be willing to swap my tickets on Level 1. I have two seats undercover in M11 and would be willing to swap them for Level 1 tickets closer to the action or for seats on Level 2. Send me a PM if your interested. Would have to be swapping two for two though.
