Eugene was just on SEN 1116. He said we're 100 down on where we want to be. He urged every supporter to convert to membership.

He said we're a member-owned club from tomorrow, when the ASIC approval of our restructure kicks in. [It's up to us people. No shareholders to bail us out any more.]

He said we're shooting for 30,000+ and we're confident we'll get them.

I'm sure things will pick up once people are back from holidays, pay off their Christmas etc - January is a terrible month to try and get things done as a lot of people are in holiday mode. Then we have the pre-season comp to give things a kick along before the season proper.

Every year it is the same, we sign up early and have to wait untill the season is upon us before the packs arrive.

I notice other clubs have already sent out thiers, and no suprise they are the ones with the highest memebership totals atm.

It is a two way street, want supporters to sign up ealry then send out the packs earlier. It's time the membership departemnt got profesional, sick of the supporters copping crap and the late start being used as an excuse, it is a cop out.

Looking at around 33k with that rate of members per day.

At just over 100 a day we are heading for around 13k by the end of Jan. However with the start of the media advertising I'm projecting close to 14k by the end of the month plus a solid Feb with the Intra club game, Family day & the NAB Cup to get us up around 19k by end of Feb.

Truth be known, I for one agree with the sentiment underlying Numchucks' post (though perhaps not quite with the way the point was made). It is getting very frustrating that (1) the packages are not sent in a timely fashion once paid for, and (2) they always seem to be missing part of what is promised.

To be that close though, to the 04-07 Jan average is concerning.
