He just can't play a game without being belted or smashed in any way. It pisses me off when I look at fanfooty and see a band-aid next to his name every week.

Too right, never picking him again.

Got Grimes as well so I'm pretty much screwed if I get one more injury there (no trades). Cover though, Houlihan and Cheney, have been good and outscoring Ellis ... they should play out the season.

Don't bother with the "they are injury prone, should have seen it coming" line ... **** off.

I'll join this club. Although...

Houlihan and Cheney > Grima and Hill.

He would be up there. After all that hype, he has played 3 games at an average of 50.

On the plus side, at least next year he will be cheap... :D

The saints have made a miraculous recovery from their 'injury' crisis ...

ST KILDA skipper Nick Riewoldt is ready to go. So are Lenny Hayes, Brendon Goddard, Leigh Montagna, Nick Dal Santo, Sam Fisher, Sam Gilbert and Steven Baker.

Looks like they'll rest another group but don't think these guys would have as much an impact ...

Maybe, it is Stephen Milne's turn for a breather this round after the lively forward headed for the dressingrooms after the warm-up while the rest of his teammates completed more than an hour of ball drills in steady rain yesterday.

Steven King, Jason Blake, Michael Gardiner, Sean Dempster and Adam Schneider, all part of the win in Launceston, did only lap work.

Thank god for that. Fisher, Goddard and Hayes back in the side and its looking good again. Now i just need SJ to be named and no other surprises to this afternoons team lists.

I was at the game (and listening to MMM). The Doc said he had hamstring tightness, but refused to come off. This was around about 1/2 time though, and he seemed to play out the rest of the game not looking in much discomfort. He'd definitely play if he needed to I'd reckon, but if Port win this w/end, don't be surprised if he and Buddy (and probably others) get put in for cotton wool.

Who replaces them though? As far as I know Buddy doesnt have any current injury complaints - I think he will definitely see out the season, especially considering Rough is gone for the year. Hodge could be put on ice, but he will want to play out the year.
