He stands out because of the dreads and the dash, but I think there have more productive players in his position this year.

If you think All Australian players get selected strictly in the position they have played most of the year you have never seen an All Australian side.

Harry will be competing against these players for a spot no doubt about it.

Hodge and Goddard have had better years by FAR but not in his position. They are midfielders. I do understand they are a chance to be selected ahead of him on a HBF perhaps, but honestly Harry should be back pocket or nothing.

Might be nothing - he's flashy no doubt, but Frawley and Enright are the two players in his way who I believe have had better years.

Don't doubt the selectors though, they DID select Campbell Brown in 2007 (?)

He will probably get a spot over someone more deserving though given how overhyped and overrated in the media he has been this year.

I think it should be fine this year because the squad of 40 is pretty good imo. Last year I thought guys like Goodwin and Bolton sort of got picked from nowhere, then the selection of Swan as a forward finished everyone off. I don't think they will make the same mistakes this year after the backlash, so hopefully Hodge is picked as a midfielder. Also hope they don't pick a backup ruckman.

Being a Swans fan it would be good if one of Malceski or Goodes sneak a spot somewhere.
