2010 Draw

I thought Benny Gale changed our St.Kilda home game to the MCG?

****ing Foxtel, hate that shit.
Why do you hate Foxtel? At least ALL their games are live, unlike the crap FTA stations, where NOT ONE game is live.
I would be happy for Foxtel to have the rights outright.

Suicide pills here.

I agree with Wally out of the first Seven, best case 3 or 4 wins

Carlton, Sydney , Freo and Melbourne all winnable. Only Geelong do I consider completly out of the realms. With the doggies you never know. Adealide is the next hardest after the cats.

The main thing, I have Christmas coming and I refuse to get depressed 4 months away from the first game :)

The cost is one reason tugga that not everyone likes foxtel. To me the sooner they get out of the equation the better. With digital FTA it could very much happen at the next rights deal

Only solution is to invest in a laptop and stream it off the net from justintv (i think). Nuts to paying for tv. Think about it, you already pay for your internet use, just get a better plan. We got what we deserved in the draw, sh1t performances mean pain the following year in regards to the 'brand' of football and television rights. Will just have to cop it. Go Tigers

Hi guys and girls.

I've updated my fixture builder with the 2010 dates.

It builds CSV, iCal and PDF fixtures to import into Outlook/Thunderbird/Google Calendar/etc. Obviously the PDF is for printing!

You can customise your calendars, set reminders, categories, etc.

I have also built iCal (ics) calendars you can subscribe to, which will be updated with scores etc. once the season has started.

To create a customised calendar, go to: http://www.thismonkey.com/cgi-bin/football-fixture.pl?start=2010&end=2010&type=ha&code=afl

and to subscribe to 2010 calendars, go to: http://offsite.thismonkey.com/fixtures/afl/calendars/aus/2010/index.html

Please leave feedback if you like it, hate it, or think it needs improvement.

(You can find other football codes at http://www.thismonkey.com)

Thanks,
Go Pies,
Scott

2 Games In Adelaide YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAW!!!! :D:):D:):D:thumbsu:
Good stuff mate.:thumbsu:
The more we can take our brand the better. Rapt we have finally got a game in Brisbane and glad we have two in SA. :thumbsu:

the home game at etihad against st.kilda is a disgrace, thought demetriou would have the common sense not to allow that!!!!

Yes give Foxtel the rights exclusively they would be able to pay $780 million to bad about those grass roots supporters who can't afford Foxtel we don't need their sort following our great game. People already complain about how corpratised the game is at the game and especially with finals how hard it is becoming for the average fan to get some games so of course the next course of action should be to stop them viewing altogether.

As for the draw the AFL don't like us let's get that straight we have been an embarrassment now for to long and they will not give us favourable draws. The AFL want a team in Tasmania but they know that the competition will not cater for any ore than 18 teams one has to go to make way if this draw doesn't sound the alarms to the supporters then nothing ever will.

Granted we have played poorly and we don't deserve favours and I can accept to a degree no Saturday games or Friday games but the AFL made a contract with Docklands we have a home ground and we should play our home games at our home ground. Fremantle didn't have a great year either but how many home games are they playing at Docklands or how many are they being forced to play at a ground that is not their home ground and before it is stated I know it is a stupid comparison.

Melbourne finished below Richmond yet they play no home games at Docklands surely if on field performance is what it is about then Melbourne should have had at least one home game there.

The most disappointing aspect is that our last home game is at Docklands and it is likely to be Richo's last game if that doesn't prove the AFL have targetted Richmond nothing will. Apart from that game as Richo's last don't go Richmond supporters need to send a message to the AFL and do not go to any home game scheduled at Docklands. Donate the money that would have been spent on getting in to the club so that they don't miss out altogether but show the AFL that we and our club have the strength to go on despite them.

A couple of points

-St.Kilda x2 at Etihad
-Port Adelaide over there AGAIN! How many years in a row is that?
-Finally we return to the GABBA
-Back for some terrace football kulcha at Skilled Stadium (ah the old days)
-We will probably be around 2-3 after 5 rounds, however the next 6 weeks will kill of any hope of making finals. Geelong, Adelaide, Hawthorn, Essendon, Port Adelaide and St.Kilda we will be extremly lucky to come out of that with 2 wins.
-Rough calculation whilst eating breakfast i had us around 7-8 wins for the season, unforunately most come at the back end of the year :(

Thanks for the break down Ruthless Tiger, awsome job.

A good draw if you have Foxtel, I don't.:(

Get to see a few games Free to air late in the season when all hope will likely be gone:(

Still on the upside we have a pretty good run given that we will be playing more games against 09 bottom eight sides than 09 top eight:thumbsu:

The first two months will be tough but if this club and the players playing for it have any ticker then they will fight out the 22 rounds and not throw in the towel mid season.

I am realist and still think bottom four is where we are and the draw is a reflection of that. We can't expect big blockbuster games on Friday nights and Sat arvo if we get pummeled again and again.
