Hey guys, just wondering what happened to Ladson.
Is he likely to be back any time soon?
will need to show some form in the maggoo's mate if he can do this then he might get a recall his form this year has been below average

Is JKT any chance of returning soon? Would be great to know cheers fellas!

JKT is on my SC bench and I'm not confident he will get named for the Hawks any time soon. On exposed form, I would expect JKT to get maybe 3-5 more games this year, which will see his SC price go up a satisfactory amount.

I don't think he will be knocking the door down with his form in the VFL, but through a combination of injuries and Hawks poor form, should get a bit more of a run anyway.

If you are looking for some one to go up in value in the next month or to provide you with some bench cover at the end of the year, he is probably not your man.

So long as I've got other cows to cash and am not copping any doughnuts, I plan to keep him.

What do you guys think about Burgoyne?

In the past he's had a few season where he's averaged 100+ in SC (his best being a 115 average), but he's struggled with serious injuries last year and this year. Depending on how he goes this week, I'm considering dumping Martin for him.

Basically. Do you guys think his body is going to hold up, and he's going to average at least 100?

Thanks for any help you can provide.:thumbsu:

The body is anyone's guess; he would have played AFL weeks ago if not for the broken jaw.

Is he a 100+ per week guy? Not likely in the short term, but he will be in the 18 every week and as his stamina develops he is going to improve. We all know what he is, he needs the match fitness.

Skipper should play untill Taylor or Big Max Bailey returns so has about 7 or 8 weeks

So he will play til round 14 or 15 or so?

I thought I had read somewhere (probably not here) that Bailey would be back mid season (which I interpret as about round 12), hence why I'm a little nervous about picking up Skipper.

Have a supercoach dilemma guys and wanting some input.

Swan or Mantagna

Both are averaging about the same, both are well down on last year, both are around the same price. One's playing in a form team, the other in an outta form team.

Be interested in your thoughts.

Many Thanks.

^^

I'd be going for swan if i could... which i will be next game...

He normally racks them up well... tackles hard and kicks goals too.. get swan

Hey guys... where do u think i should change on my SC team

Backs: Hodge Goddard Malceski Enright Carazzo Waters Macguire - Silvagni Webberly
Mids: Ablett Barlow Bartel Cooney Riscetelli Judd - Trengove kaylor-Thomson
Rucks: Sandilands Natinui - Warnock Roughead
Forwards: Chapman JBrown O'keefe Hall Franklin Pods Rioli - Fyfe Watts

I am planning to drop Warnock for Skipper

But would u guys do a trade of Riscetelli for Swan, or should i try to get Pavlich from Brown since he seems injured?

yer mate, i would look at gettin off riscy but would have a look at dal santo at the bargin price he is, bit cheaper then mont an firing, he go well from here on out, rioli goin to plumet too!

Help scully out for either Jud or mont or dal santo????

Best value - Dal Santo
Best player for DT finals - Montagna
Most points - Judd

Depends on your team and your goal which one you should pick.

SWAN every day of the week mate

yes mate Round 15 or there abouts for Max mate so the Skipper will be a good back up

Your advice on Brad SEWELL dreamteam wise, he started the year late so his first few scores can be excused but recently they haven't improved a great deal.

I noticed he tagged Judd on the weekend, is he now your number 1 tagger and is this likely to remain the case.

I personally think he is too good a player to be tagging, he's an out an out gun!

^ I would probably give him another couple of weeks to see how he goes. He has a b/e of 123 this week so he will drop in price again. Also, he hasn't cracked the ton yet in four games, best to wait. But you are right, he is an absolute star!

I traded Scully for him. Martin is on my bench. He'll be consistent if nothing else. For sure though the Hawks look a better side with him in !

Hey guys, any idea when Ladson might be back into the side? Cheers

I just sold him.

He'll play most of the rest of the season but don't expect him back with the next fortnight barring injuries.

Also hoping JKT comes back soon.

I've got problems with my forward line.
I know what a surprise!

Pav, ROK, Higgins, Pods, Buddy, Ziebell, Sizzle,
EMG: Hitchcock, Gumby

Was thinking of starting Hitchcock for Ziebell or Cyril [I know!]?

Port are playing the tiges at AAMI and with a big 99 last week could he back it up?

^ JKT won't be coming back in any time soon, he isn't even named as an emergency for this weeks game. With an almost fully fit list to pick from (fingers crossed), he will struggle to regain his spot for the rest of the year IMO.

As for starting Hitchcock, his last two weeks have been very good. Cyril still isn't 100%, despite the coaches saying otherwise. I would probably go for Hitch over Ziebell as Cyril is still a chance to turn it on and pull out a 100+ score. Robbie Gray is still out of the side which will probably continue to help Hitch's scoring also.

Just wondering what you guys have thought about Buddy this year. From my point of view he has looked good without being great, but I get the feeling that he is just about ready to explode in the second half of the season. He has scored really well this year (avg 96 in his last 5 games) without break 110 in any of his matches. Even in the first 2 games against the Cats and Dogs, two of the better sides who have the best full backs in the game, his scores were still respectable. Initially I thought he probably hadn't kick many goals this year, but he has managed 20 in his last 5 games.

You guys have played some indifferent footy this year but it looks like these next few weeks will basically determine your season and whether or not you guys make a run at the finals or languish in the bottom third of the ladder. I get the feeling that you guys will make some kind of assault on 7th or 8th on the ladder. Looking at your remaining games I only see Geelong and the Swans at the SCG as games Buddy more than likely will struggle in (Geelong for obvious reason, the SCG for its confinds). You guys also play the Dogs at the G where I think he can get away, 3 games at Aurora and the remaining games at the G bar one at Etihad. Do you guys think that Buddy is capable of really turning it on (bags of 6, 7 and 8 resulting in huge DT points) or do you think he's been figured out a little bit by opposition sides and is probably performing as well as can be expected?

I'm looking to go down a bit of a different path to most of the top sides who all seem to have Chappy, Pav, ROK, Goodes, Higgins and Pods. So far I've taken a punt on Thomas which has paid off and I think that Buddy would be a very unique pick amongst say the top 1500 Dream Teams. If he was to average 110 from here on in (after his suspension of course) then this would be a massive boost. Thanks for any feedback

I have been very impressed with Buddy this season. Has been very consistent and seems to be growing in confidence with each game. I have him in my side and have been very happy with his scores. The only downside is that he has missed a few games through injury and suspension, however, one would hope that he has learnt his lesson regarding the bump!

I can't see him averaging 110 though, maybe 90-95 would be more realistic. Isn't having as many shots on goal as he did in 08 which is affecting his output but on the upside he is playing further up the ground at times gathering more possies. In short, I think he would be a very good semi-unique choice for your forward line. Just be prepared to ride the Buddy wave!

Now... your turn! I didn't get to watch the Pies v Lions game on the weekend and was wondering how did Swanny look? I know he pumped out a 120+ score but also heard that he was struggling with a knee problem. Want to put the big C on him this week! Cheers.

He has definitely had some decent strapping on his knee the last few weeks, but having said that, while he might have a bit of a niggle I don't think its affecting him THAT much. Swanny is a waddler anyway, so his normal running style makes him look a little lame. I'm not really too concerned, because I think if he had any significant injury which could get worse then we wouldn't be playing him. I think we learnt our lesson as a side last year when we went into finals with 3 or 4 of our best players really struggling physically. What I'd be more concerned about is whether or not the Dogs pay him a lot of attention or let him run loose
