wat teams have players missing? i know west preston have about 10 good players missing playing in the seconds if they get them bak they will be a chance to play finals with some players that r playing 19s that havent any form of yet but to hit some form very soon!:thumbsu:

no point talking players up on here, when northcote park start doing something then talk them up, and fill us in when these so called superstars are playing, so when you lose again you can be even more embarraced, or even better name them

All clubs have that though even greensborough and bundoora so i think if players return it wont make a huge difference to the teams
Players that i know so far who are playing seniors that qualify for 19s
Heidelberg- michael brunelli
Eltham- tom rogers, brayden ?(young fella) tom snel
Greensboro- luke shaw ,matt fowler ,tj scarce
northcote park- ben mcneece
wpl- luke vinchitorio jamie doukis corey ray
bundoora, lalor, and mcloed not sure yet any others i have missed?

west have zak watkins who will play ones when hes fit

and NP have owen donaghey -arrosmith in the ones, second ruckman and plays fwd

greensborough also have mitch anderson,daniel mason,rhys boydon and scott conte

west also have jesse devine

and from eltham its brayden taglieri
 
word has it boro 19s are looking very good early on in the season, with big wins in previious games, and plenty of good cattle they may be hard to stop......

clouders10 surely lauchie considine would be one of the better players enjoy watching him play just gotta lose that anger problem and im sure he could be a real star???
should be real interesting for macleod this week to really see were they stand.

montysuk one only hopes you dont have a mouth like you type, if so im sure your spent a fair share of time at the austin....

Brent Ryan for Greensborough is without doubt the best full back in the comp. he has only conceeded 1 goal from 3 games and is the general of the back line. without him greensy would be half the team they are today.

very good player dont get me wrong but thats a huge statement to make considering greensborough have conceeded in total 13 goals and have won 2 games by over 100pts and 1 over 50pts...i think it would be safe to say that if brent wasnt able to play for a week they'd still manage a 15 goal win...just! and it also helps having a gun midfeild to back up ur full back when it goes down there
 
bit of a shock macleod beating greenzy dont think macleod are as behide as ppl think,,,yes i no you ppl are going to say they had players out but at the end of the day a win is a win and the 4 points went to macleod

agree totally there mate, full credit to macleod! got down there to watch the game, i thought it was going to be a fairly level headed game considering mac & boro were both 3-0 but greensy seemed to be on the back foot all day, although they showed come class in the 3rd Q coming back to tie it.

Chris Clark dominated for boro but seemed Mac's FF Daniel Francis was too strong for the boro's FB and managed to bag 7. and L considine seemed to tear it up for Macleod as well.

no doubt boro will kick it into 2nd gear next week against lalor and get an easy win on the board and Macleod have a challange against Monty next week.

yes macleod definatly had boros measure all day but the 3rd qtr, boro seemed to rely too much on conte and clark to do all the hard work, maybe when they get a few big names back it will be different, and daniel francis unstopable in the last to kick macleod clear after level scores at 3Q/T.

All credit to Macleod they played a great game although being a vivid U/19 follower Boro still have Boyden, Libertino, Scarce, Shaw, Anderson and Fowler playing seniors while Mcdowell, Riddle and Veale are on school and TAC cup duties, still a lot of positives for the boro this year....:thumbsu:

all obviously very good players but can you see any of them actually playing in the 19's?? after watching boro seniors win i cant see any of them being dropped

This may be the case with quite a number of players being away for duties like you said but looking back on the practice match Boro vs Mac prior to the season, correct me if im wrong all players were playing excluding Riddle & Veal(TAC) and Fowler.

and i think Chris Libertino was either reserves or yet to sign up to the club and Mac still going down down by 3 goals to a quite stronger sided game but never the less both teams being 100% would be a cracker of a game would it not ?

and anyone have any thoughts on the Bundoora outfit ? heard quite a number of their 1's players got dropped on the weekend including their Vice Captain Kristian Forte and Chase Caulfield on the verge on makng a senior Debut

Players not playing in that practice match Boyden, Libertino, Fowler, Riddle, Veale, Mcdowell, Mason, Anderson and Conte, Scarce (captain) and Miller (vc) only playing a half :s
 
Good game on the weekend against borough, good contest the whole way, mac had the wind in the last which was the big advantage to us. Conte played a great game for Borough while the stand-out for macleod i reckon was Patrick Martin dominating the centre all day.
