Riewoldt leaves track early with hammy strain, major doubt for round 1. You just get the feeling he may have over done himself this pre-season, big worries, I think I might steer clear to start with and see how it pans out.

Excellent idea, the more people steering clear the better:thumbsu:

Graham Johncock has broken is thumb :(

Graham Johncock is out of Adelaide’s opening game after breaking a bone in his thumb at training yesterday.

The Crows defender completed the session but there was swelling in his right thumb last night and tests this morning confirmed the break. He will be out for up to four weeks.

Johncock has been replaced in the 25-man squad by Jarrhan Jacky.

its interesting grays not on ports injury list today...
would of thought if he was in any serious doubt to play he would of been listed as a test...i still think he is a much better chance of becoming a keeper than ziebel. Considering playing him and crossing my fingers he will play

Come on that's ridiculous.

Its the day after the game! Give them 6-7 days to recover and they should be ready to go. Mal played out the end of the game anyway. I think its stupid to make an article doubting players availability on the sunday/monday when it isnt an actual injury (ie not a hammy or ACL) and just soreness - of COURSE theyre going to be sore the day after copping hits like that!

Wait until thursday and see how they feel then, then write your article SMH/Age.

Yeah and one of them was complaining about a lump on their head. Sure a lump on their head should stop them playing a game of footy in a weeks time!
