Watson, Murphy and Warnock
All I could have asked for really
5 today and 7 tonight, gonna be a great day of footy IMO

Re: Round 19 Preview, Scores & In-Game Discussion

Most midfields can't bat past 6 and you have a premium at 7?

Lucky :D

nah just the way it worked out - was planning to trade down for the finals but late season injuries and lack of trades forced a decision - it might prove to be ok - we shall see.

the others are ablett, bartel, selwood & boyd. stanton was gonna be the bench sitter but he has improved last 2 weeks, so i have to make a choice every week of the finals. pendlebury finds it hard against good taggers.

Re: Round 19 Preview, Scores & In-Game Discussion

Pods in for Lonergan, apparently. Us Chapman owners can rest a little easy now before the big one!

Re: Round 19 Preview, Scores & In-Game Discussion

Judd 110 :thumbsu:
Warnok 57 :)

Big day for me today got Swan, Goodes (c), Rok, pendles, hodge, Chappy, Waters, Ablett, Enright, Goosey, Grundy, Brennan, Rockliff.

Im not the best coach going around but i try my best.

Re: Round 19 Preview, Scores & In-Game Discussion

20 mins into todays game and all my players (approx 5 of them) are underperforming. I'm getting pretty frustrated.

Hmmm, I have Malceski (probably about 0 in SC), ROK, Hodge, Goodes and Pav, none of which will have a huge SC score.

Having said that, I try not to get too frustrated at SC.

Re: Round 19 Preview, Scores & In-Game Discussion

The 1st, 2nd and even 3rd qtr scores are barely ever truly reflective of the final score anyway mate. Nothing you can do about it now anyway yeah... Just sit back and enjoy the ride I say... Who knows, a few of your players could slot home a few goals each with a handful of tackles in the last qtr and come out with an extra 50 odd points on top of whatever they've got 3-qtr time. You never know.

Re: Round 19 Preview, Scores & In-Game Discussion

The kid's on my shortlist for next year :thumbsu:
Mine as well with Kirk dropping out they will need someone to step up in their midfield, has played really well today.

Currently 205/3

Judd, Gibbs & Sandi

Looks like I'm going to have a bad week got Buddy, Hodge, Ladson, Malceski, ROK, Pav & Fyfe out there right now with most of them underperforming in a big way.

Yeah... I'm thinking my ROK/Goodes combo of this year could easily become Jack/Mummy next year.

EDIT: Obviously not a straight MID:FWD to MID:FWD swap... Just like to keep a few swans in my team as I know them, watch them every week and can better assess their use in my team/potential etc...

Re: Round 19 Preview, Scores & In-Game Discussion

Impromptu's curse is up and running...

Goodwin to Eski (starting over Roberton)...

Roberton 23, DNP (therefore copped a donut) then monster (naturally, I traded and started Eski over Roberton)...

Seriously SC Gods, did I p1ss you guys off? serious...lucky I have no chance of the big prize otherwise I'd be pretty annoyed.. :)

And of all weeks Roberton decides to run riot... oh well...next year will need to think carefully with strategy...

NB - Sorry for cursing him everyone who has him... :(

Re: Round 19 Preview, Scores & In-Game Discussion

Hoping for a reasonable boost from my Hawks this quarter, ROK should get a boost as he is the one keeping the Swans buffer intact.
