Solid 4-0 win against the Tasmanian XI, not the greatest opposition but a clean sheet is all I'm looking for from friendlies. Milligan, Markelis, Davies and Allsopp with the goals. Nice to see the youngsters getting on the scoresheet also, good on Davies and Markelis
According to facebook, Flores and Finkler playing like Xavi and Iniesta with the way they're linking up. Good to hear of for the new season as well as Davies continuing his beast performances.

4-2, MV beat AU. Haven't seen highlights but Melbs were never threatended, conceded a late goal, unfortunately.

Just saw the highlights on YouTube, both sides looked sloppy defensively, Adelaide especially, still can't believe two of the goals that Melbourne scored, under 12's don't mistakes like that. Nice to see Finkler looking dangerous, would be great to see him play like that in a partnership with Flores.

I like the squad Ange has put together. However I'm worried about Tando and the defence still.
Fish is horrible. He simply can't play football. Also, we have the wrong Franjic.
Ado will do MUCH better this season, but he's still yet to appear in the pre-season. Injuries still dogging him.
We've been calling Tando "Flappy" recently. Sums him up pretty well. I'd much rather see Lawrie Thomas given a run ahead of him, he looked much more confident in goals last season when he was called upon.
Milligan will do well.

First of all, it's really not.
Secondly Tando did alright in the few games he played last year, wasn't embarrassed by any stretch. Anyway if we need a new keeper in the late transfer period I'm sure Ange will be able to woo Joe Hart to come down for a stretch

I do like the looks of the midfield. Hopefully Allsopp can fire some goals this year. Archie won't.
I'd back Archie any day before Allsopp, Allsopp is the Kosi of Melbourne Victory, slow ungainly and does a better disappearing act than Houdini.
It doesn't matter they'll probably both be gone by the years end with Archie gracefully retiring and Danny "retiring", to be replaced by 2 new godlike strikers in our quest for back to back
