Evening gents

Reading through the last few pages and I'm seeing little love for Bruce. Fit? Dominant preseason? Impact diminished once Hodge overcomes injury and hits top gear?

I'm going to give him a whirl - think his form has been good and I'm not sure about Hodge diminishing his impact - completely different roles I think you will see but that's just my imo - posters with far more knowledge and DT ability than myself will hopefully give you some advice

Fit, good preseason, best 22 and likely high scorer.

Biggest problem is that he's 31 but probably same level of risk as Grimes

Most likely he won't be... At the moment, Shane Savage would be still in front of him, and they play in the same position.

Look for him to get some games Round 6 onwards i would of thought

Worth considering as your 10th midfield. Good prospect and should score heavily but on the fringe of the team so could easily find himself out before he matures. Personally have Bewick in that position at the moment as he has better job security in my opinion.

Ive got some inside info from the club that Savage is one player that they are very keen on playing. I have Hibberd, Savage, Harris, Bewick, Swallow. From what ive heard Savage is very unique and jbo security is good

need some last minute help! If Savage is named do you think he will stay in the side for an extended period of time? I dont want him to play round 1 and then be out for 6 weekss...

He has scoring potential imo just job security....

i have isaac smith but noticed a few people say that he wont play rnd 1. should i keep isaac smith or get Thomas Schneider or is there someone else cheap fwd? and who should i take out of franklin or rioli? thanks

Boys friday night is looming and lockout is upon us. Supercoach is really giving me the shits, im changing my team literally every 10 minutes, but 1 that's really killing me is burgers vs mitch???

both been good preseason wise, atm ive got mitch but should i swap him?? I've got 150k in the bank and my midfield stands as

Selwood, pendles, mitchell, boak, cotchin, harris
(bewick, savage, curnow)

PLEASEE HELPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Schneider is a rookie and hasn't been elevated, so is unlikely to play. Smith will play at some point, but no idea when, if you're after MPP maybe go Prestia if you can afford him. I would take Franklin.

Tough to split these 2, I've gone with Mitch. You're midifeld is strong, IMO you could downgrade either Mitchell or Boak to a Swallow, and spend the money saved + the 150k on a premium elsewhere. Midfield rookies will likely score more than forwards/defenders rookies. Franklin + Swallow > Boak + forward rookie. Then when you target an upgrade midfielder, there are more gun options likely to be in your price range, as opposed to trying to upgrade a forward premium, where there might only be 5 targets all at top price. Just my opinion.

Don't expect much personally, hopefully a few games. Smith from the GC would be a better option, McKenna has said he will play.

i'd go pav, freo have got a few key injuries in the midfield which should give him a bit more time in the middle to rack up some cheap stats.

Iv gone with Birchall in my DT backline.. is this a mistake? Iv always found him great to watch but have heard no talk of him whatsoever in DT circles.. looking at previous years stats he can be a bit inconsistant but i feel that this could be his year!

he'll give you consistent 80s (in DT), at his price you'd be wanting better scoring output and may as well spend a little more and go for a premium.
