Loved when Lingy kicked his final goal and Dermott says Lingy's been a great story and that Dane Swan has been good on the day but he was immediately cut short by Schwarz and Laidley who reminded him that Swan had half the possessions of what he usually get's and Ling got the 20 disposals and a goal , and there was nothing but silence from Brereton

I thought Lloyd was pretty good at acknowledging Varcoes' workrate.

You have to watch the Fox coverage though as the 10 coverage missed it due to the ad and came back with shots of the Pies huddle.

Was also impressed that Lloyd seemed to know his initial praise wouldn't have made the 10 broadcast to so emphasised it again with his 'will be folklore' comment.

Not a fan of Lloyd but he was better than Darcy and Quarters at giving credit where it was due.

Lloyd is a lot smarter than he looks and sounds on tv. It's a shame he can't translate it to his call so much. You've got to appreciate his honesty when talking about 2001 flag and how he was part of a team that probably didn't want it enough.

A question for those quoting the ABC commentary - where can one download a copy of the broadcast? I've checked out the highlights package on Gerard Whateley's website, but would love to hear the whole thing. It's the only broadcast I haven't heard as I was watching the game live on Ch10 and all the other radio calls are on the DVD.

I've trawled out the ABC774 website without much luck, so if anyone is able to point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

I got carded by that knob Catmanforever, who was having more fun playing teacher than celebrating the flag win

I just did the exact same search last night and found a grand final radio torrent on aus.sierules.com that has 4 files, one for each of the ABC, 3AW, MMM and SEN calls.

The ABC file is about 300 MB.

Lloyd was all over it. The channel 10 commentary team aren't bad but they are severely hampered by the ad breaks so they have a disadvantage vs radio commentary. I loved Darcy's review of the Mitch Duncan goal and how good was that overhead camera shot of the ball sailing through over SJ's head as he raises his hands?!

The Channel 10 producer for that day should be shot. How many centre bounces and throw ins did he miss? And the match sealer?? (SJ's goal). All while he was searching for shots of the Mick in the box and people clapping
