YPOTY - Hannerbery

Spangher again showed his worth and White needs to back that effort up next week to regain some faith. Kennedy was again brilliant and just misses out on some votes from me.

5 Shaw - Easily best IMO
4 Goodes - ripped the game apart in the final quarter
3 Richards - Killed Riewoldt
2 Hanners - Love this kid
1 Mumford - Very good but hitouts weren't always to advantage

YPOTY - Hanners

Stiff - Mcveigh & Kennedy

5. Mummy
4. Teddy
3. Shaw
2. Hanners
1. Kennedy

YPOTY: Hanners

Special mention to White who seems to have finally discovered that he can lead, mark and split packs, very promising signs.

5. Mumford. Simply. Dominant.
4. Richards. Kept finding myself saying "Richards again". It's weird, 2 years ago he was nowhere near this strong through the body. The Real Commando must have done wonders for him.
3. Shaw. Brilliant all day, set up so much play. Made a couple of errors but other than that he's competing with Richards and Mummy for BOG honours.
2. Kennedy. He and Mumford teamed up awesomely. I feel bad only giving him 2, since his clearance work was simply mighty.
1. McVeigh. Down to him and Hanners, very hard to split, but I went McVeigh because he was a bit cleaner. Both racked it up all day, never stopped trying, bobbed up for important goals and put their bodies on the line.

Stiff: Hanners, McGlynn, Goodes (how he doesn't get votes I don't know, but there's just no room), and Grundy (overshadowed by Richards but still very good).

YPOTY: Hanners

5. Mumford - really crushed McEvoy (and therefore my SC team)
4. Goodes - that 1st goal of the last qtr was such a captains goal.
3. Richards - reading the ball beautifully
2. Shaw - yeah, he can butcher it but he was very good today in the contest.
1. Hannebury - just keeps getting better. Has no fear.

5. Richards - Teddy in career best form completely wiped the slate with Reiwoldt
4. Mumford - If he can play like that against the Cats we'll win and they'll know they've lost twice.
3. Shaw - The engine of our rebound. With Tadgh and Mal down he has stepped up.
2. Goodes - Superb again
1. McVeigh - First half in particular was huge. Clean, prolific, finds time and space under pressure and he rarely misses a target. Unlucky not to have two first half goals (but then the team was unlucky not to have 15)

YPOTY : Hanners - Brilliant game despite once again kicking it OOF to left of goals (in what has now become his trademark shot). Hanners, please aim to the right point post.

Stiff : Grundy, Kennedy, Spanker
