Even if the "home" team is playing at EP?

MMM Thanks I didn't notice that Rock! I'll stick with UB though, they are due for a win

You sound like you were a very average footballer!!

You sound like a very average bloke!

Either stop sitting on the side lines eating pies and sign up to umpire or shut up and stop complaining about them = simple

have upset some folk with my comments.

If body allowed it I'd still be playing ladies!!

St Bedes (Brindisi huge advantage)
OM's (with a few injuries to key players they might play some actual Old Melburnian kids)
UB's (just must win)
OS (need a scalp)
Collegians (wouldnt surprise if OT won on the big deck)

Interesting call on OM's. Check out the best players past 4 weeks.
On your theory, what do we make of SBMT - do you have to be a St Brendans boy and live in Mordialloc for the team to be successful. What a crock.
Thanks for the fodder for Saturday morning though.
Must run. London market about to open.

Weather will even this weeks round out, footy won't be as scintilating as last weeks games.
UNI BLUES Someone has to win
ST BEDES Don't think l have ever tipped against Xavs
COLLEGIANS Last weeks form unbelievable
OLD CAREY First loss in 12 months, will bounce back at home
DE LA SALLE At home

Bit of bickering here late in the week again.........must be anxious for the
footy this weekend!!!!!

you like, youlike?...good

Love causing havoc at the local when a trainee TAB attendant comes on board and I ask them how to fill out the card if I want to pick a Dead Heat.

Causes Utter Kaos, especially on Melbourne Cup Day.

You need to get out more Carl...

St Bedes
OMs
Blues
Scotch
Collegians

StB (both are winning without dominating so a draw could again be on the cards)
DLS
OC
OH
Col

Tips for Me:

Hails to win by 1 point and keep JK abusing every man and his dog even Rah Rahs Shhhhnowser.
STBM to topple the lucky ones and this time they win with the last kick. Oh sorry second last kick seeing as they've already done that.
Lions to win a close one. Have a feeling the four eyed Albino is very happy with things at present...and with his team.
OM to win an even closer one. That bloke Hinly to dominate and Pedderson to run so wide he'll be wearing Green and Gold.
Delasoul to smash the biscuits into bite sizes.

Avagoodone, I'm orff to the pub for a cruiser or two...

Well Saturday has come around again, after a week of shocking weather. Graziers alerts everywhere. Fashion alerts too - Church Street has been full of most unusual sahts - ugg boots, acid wash!, full length duffle coats, even saw a beanie or two. Just wrong. Thought it was an excursion for Hampton Rovers or something. Then I realised there was a Collingwood game on and they all got on the train and went to the 'G. Brahton returned to its splendour. So I ducked in to the Half Moon to contemplate this week's games and sat by the crackling open fahr and had myself a little Dom. (For those of you who happen to be boys of the Pope's persuasion, thats a drink, not your favourite brother). 'Twas a '94. Excellent year that.
Just before I get to the to the tips, a little correction, if I may. Mr Squiggles, there is no Schnautzer for RahRah, its a Schnoodle. Wouldn't have a full blooded German living under the same roof. Only good things to come out of there have been Riesling, Heidi Klum and Steffi Graf's chassis.
Now, lets see whats happening at headquarters this week? Still no sign of the big S-H-O-L-L-Y-W-O-O-D letters on the hill, Max on Monday spent half his article talking about Lionel Rose, Seve Ballesteros and Osama Bin Laden, and the Heath Ledger appears to have been dumped after just one round, replaced forever by something called the Saturday Skinny. Long hours around the Board Room Table to come up with that one boys. All too busy organising Umpire Appreciation Week? Perhaps so. And there are some who appreciate the boys in lahm green more than others. Like Big Rambo. And Thrush from Xavs. But none more-so than Collegians little pornstar Turgid Shaft who gets half his goals from the little blowers. Been known to give them a little tap on tha arse as they bound back to the centre after giving him another one. Keeps the "4 eyed Albino" pleased, and believe me nobody wants to upset him. Am told when upset he could rival that guy who coaches Uni, Gollum I think his name is? He will be a little happier this week as the Blues will beat the boys from beena. St Brendans Mordialloc Taipans boys will knock off the Xavs. Most of the boys in black and red have only been to Mordy on their way to Kittens at Frankston - this is a long way from their comfort zone. OM's will finally break the duck. They will feel at home in weather like this aiming the Range Rovers towards Mt Buller. De La will bring Scotch back to earth. And Collegians will, with little Turgid bagging another 7, cement their place on top.
Now. Off to the pantry. Hopefully a few of the regular tahps have been caught in a rain shower and are in there trying to drah off. I'll be more lahkly to appreciate that than our little athletic administrators. Hoo Roo.

OH over Blues (Voss to play one end as usual kick 4 in 2 qtrs and still keep their forwards quiet in the other 2)
SBMT over Xavs
Carey over OMs
DLS over Scotch
Coll's over Trins

Outa:mad:
