Fed has no hope of winning this match. You can see that even when a set up he has no confidence, plus the court is just too slow for him to put the ball away.

Yeah the commentators keep saying he looks so calm, but I honestly think that he looks tense and pretty stressed out, and he doesn't look like that when not playing Rafa.

This court is playing like an indoor court. Which Fed holds a 4-0 record against Nadal. The low bounce acutally suits Federer rather then Nadal.

This game had been EPIC so far - I so want it 5

Not sure if serious. Besides those couple passing shots by Nadal its been one if the lower quality "Fedal" matches I've seen so far. Lots of simple errors from both players.

Can you imagine what the international viewers would be thinking at the moment

Yep, amateur stuff. Why is there fireworks on? Because it's Australia Day?

Would think for a major sporting event they wouldn't allow this shit to happen.

Yeah, I flicked on the ESPN2 stream out of curiousity to see what they are saying.

I say it every year, it ridiculous that this happens, screw Australia Day celebrations, leave that to Sydney, this is a grand slam tournament.

Great match so far, Federer didn't do a whole lot wrong when he got broken. he played so well in that first set, if he keep being aggressive like he has been then that would be the way to win even though it's cost him a few errors in this set.

that makes more sense, haha. agree on both.

TT is full of teenage fanboys. Good luck getting a rational discussion about any of the top three.

Would be nice if Federer came to the net more. As long as he does it judiciously, he'll win a lot more points than he loses. Force Nadal to come up with the stellar pass to beat him.
