I had a look at Ticketmaster before the game yesterday for shits n giggles and the only seats available were restricted viewing tickets... how does that work with only 33,000?
Unfortunately I wasn't able to make yesterdays match due to unexpected circumstances, I tried to on sell my seats thru the club, but only got a recorded message at the Club, when I finally got the team store their suggestion was try and contact the Membershipservices, on MONDAY, for assistance!! I was also informed that the arrangement was only available if you knew you weren't able to make it by the Wednesday before the match! Good management that!

We get these topics every year.. The problem is there probably several thousand(if not 4K or 5K) eagle members with memberships just to get in on the Derbys. These are die-hard Eagle fans willing to fork out the dough for the 2 games a year and deny attendence to our other games they have no intention of attending.

One solution if it was possible, could be if an Eagle member(I guess you'd have to find it out, maybe via cross data via Eagles member list??) didn't confirm their Docker seat by tuesday, then their seat AUTOMATICALLY went into the pool of seats available... Period....

How does on-selling work? I am considering getting a membership, but due to work commitments plus my partner difficult to drag out to games mean I will be unlikely to see all the games. Would feel bad to leave my seat empty, so try to watch at a per game basis, which is probably inefficientand random.

Home Crowd v Kangaroos: 31,637

Average Home Crowd 2013: 35,306

2013 Average v 2012 Average: Up 1,920

Reasonable turnout today - given the weather conditions. Atmosphere was rather average throughout the game though.

Home Crowd v Kangaroos: 34,064

Average Home Crowd 2013: 35,151

2013 Average v 2012 Average: Up 1,765

Amazing weather for footy - reasonable turnout.

To the idiots jeering Sandilands when he marked the ball and the idiots who kept yelling "just kick it" - stay at home next home game

To me it wasn't a jeer it was more of a cheer. Did the same thing for Pav when he got the ball.

was surrounded by idiots where I sit today.. games like this really bring them out.
so much negativity from people with no clue. reminded me of the few Eagles games i've been to.
got very little help clapping Dawson as he went off the ground after his head knock. :(

I noticed that. Behind the goals the majority clapped him but I could see over on the wing that barely anyone did.

I'm on the payment plan and last season they wouldn't let you onsell until you paid out the full membership. Not sure what its like this season, but if its like that, it makes it harder to fill seats

The ticket on-selling is a load of shit. Don't you get something like a $20 club voucher at the most? It's barely worth sorting out your ticket and going through the hassle. Especially when you consider the club, and ours is a fairly well off one, just keep the extra cash for themselves.

Hopefully the issue becomes irrelevant at Burswood.

It gets taken off your renewal for next season IIRC.

Sounded like the bronx cheers to me, even Ross mentioned Sandi getting the bronx cheers in his press conference.

Very disappointing behaviour by the crowd today. Yes he were not playing at 100% but when everything isn't going our way we should not turn against our own players, get the Freo chant up and support the team.

The club needs to look at who is and who isn't using their memberships. If someone attends say less than 3 games per season, they probably shouldn't be allowed to keep it because they are denying someone else attending every game and are contributing to low crowd numbers at our games.

I keep hearing each game how there are only a few tickets say 1k left for sale, yet we continue to only get around 34k to each match.

Though, the I find the 1.20PM time on Sunday really shithouse. Seems to just come around quick before you realise and anyone with a Sunday lunch on is affected by it.

That and not the fricken sun being a total pain in the ass. I sit in the South West corner and the sun is gone by 3 for me, with the 1.20 start it means I have to sit in my seat that is supposed to be a good weather seat for the whole match. First world issue I know, but annoying nonetheless.

All for the 2.40 start!

1.20pm is way better for my seats. I'm on the southern wing and with a later start I'm staring straight into the sun for half the game as it heads down over the 3 tier stand.

But with an earlier start it stays overhead the whole game and I don't even notice it. I even got a nice little winter tan on Saturday.

So where are they all? Still only getting 34k to a game.

You have to remember this number includes: Country Members, 3-Game Membership Packages.

With that being said we pulled a very small crowd to the Bombers game and our average crowd of 35,151 is not bad, but is quite low given how the team is travelling. (In 2006, 2007 and 2010 we were averaging 37,000)

I hope our members and fans make an effort to support the team in a positive manner in the remaining home games.
