He has a knee injury that he's playing through, which is making it harder for him to play through the tag. Especially now that Walker is out for the year (
) he could well play some major minutes in the forward line.

At least 2 more weeks, normally an automatic selection but may play a SANFL game to get fitness back
Is Laird worth bringing in? Considering what he did in a sub-affected game this week do you think he might get a full game next week?

Hi guys, wanting to know about Douglas for Elite, and maybe DT. Averaging the ton in DT - are his stats inflated or can he maintain this? Does have some variance in his scores, the two tonnes coming against WB and Port (no disrespect intended).
Is he a better option than Sloane?

Maybe not reallyAs for his DT prospects, personally I would rate Sloane higher, as its hard to see Douggy keeping up this form for much longer. Douglas is probably good for an average between 80-90 though

We really don't know yet. He played very well after getting subbed in early. Luke Brown who plays a similar role was concussed also. If he plays this week, will it effect Lairds position/role? Not sure yet. Lot's of unknowns. However, his first game may be more indicative of how he will be played, given the Crows were not affected by injury in that game.
Did he play that well thou? Yes he scored well
Think he played on garlett who had a pretty big day out.

He was fine, given that he played his second game, played on a quality small forward, and had a midfield that was well beaten.

So what do we reckon Browns chances of playing this week are? I've got about 5 injuries and a suspension to deal with. I've got Brown sitting on the bench and would be great if I could slot him in instead of making another trade.

I'm the same. looking like trading out Goodes and Brown though, and relying on Heath and Stevenson to both come up. Might change around the mix though if Brown is in and one of the others is not. At this early stage, I'm going with all three in
Brodie Smith Query. I was thinking of picking him up as a midpricer before he got injured early in the year. With a number of defenders out of my team this week I am considering bringing him after his 1 game that I did not see. Can someone please give me an update on his fitness, if he played SANFL last week how his form was, or if he was rushed back into the team, etc.

Played SANFL the previous week. Was solid but not outstanding (based on checking his reports - I didn't see him play).
His form at AFL level showed why he was brought back into the team - far too good to waste in a lower league when fit.
Will play all games when fit - no reason he shouldn't stay so.
Expectation of most crows supporters is his form will only improve over the season.

He's been horrifically down on last years form. It wouldn't be a shock to see him dropped this week.

Consensus seems that Laird should come straight back into the side. Do we think he will keep his spot? And I would imagine the chances of being sub are high, considering he's coming off an injury?
It's a risk, if heppell and or gibbs don't come back he will be on field for me. But my only other real downgrade option is hannath...
