Yeah good call by McLean. Also would know it may impact on him being selected next week.

Still underrated McLean.

Knocked was good today too.

I don't disagree, although those goals were mostly scramblers, as opposed to the "proper" ones he kicked today. But it makes sense. OK, he's not quick, and he's not a great field kick... but he is defensively accountable, he does read it well in the air, and he is strong overhead. Not sure why we haven't tried it more through the season... especially since reinventing Laidler as a forward in the seconds doesn't seem to have worked out too well?

i think he could be a very good defensive forward, next week i'd put him on Malceski to see if he can stop his influence and hurt him on the scoreboard with a few goals. I think Mick has been looking for the right combination and players who can stand up and help win finals, he found a few today.

amazing by Hardwick, he went in to Carlton's rooms to shake Micks hand to congratulate him
Did not see that as 7Mate went to 'How I Met Your Mother ' about 30 seconds after the siren sounded :(

Credit to Damien Hardwick though , quality act from a quality person.

Murphy's copped a lot of criticism for being soft since his hit with Hodge, he'll be back among it next year, even if he can't find his best inside game again this year. Played a good game on the outside anyway.

Hey Tugga, thanks for the kudos. Must be very hard to swallow but you should be proud of the effort of your team this year. Good times to come! :thumbsu:
gutted mate. Rejoice in my hurt. Inconsolable.
Will say it again. Judd an absolute gun.
Congrats. Enjoy. I am sure you will.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Judd, and the Word was Judd.

Pretty sure it's written down somewhere...
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of Carlton.
And the light shineth in Richmond; and the Richmond comprehended it not.

I rarely rejoice in opposition supporters heartbreak, all of us have been on the receiving end and know what it is like. Every supporter follows their team but sits helpless in the stands and can do nothing. The faith Richmond supporters have shown over the years despite a lack of success is incredible. At times like this I can only be happy for what my team did, I have empathy for the Tigers supporters because I know how much it burns. Head up brother!

Mick doesn't like him as a backman, and I guess he has never been particularly convincing as a forward (defensive or otherwise) at AFL level.

Until quite recently :).

I think he kicked 3 goals or so against us in a game last season.

Oh well, I think he caught the Tigers off guard today. :thumbsu:

Cheers mate. It's all good. Just a pleasurento see juddy do what he did today. Total respect.
Going to drown my sorrows. Actually i have been doing that for a few hiurs now.
Good luck against the swans.

Congrats to Carlton. I was cheering for Carlton that entire game and I am glad Richmond lost. An injured Judd was amazing, along with others too.

Yesss! With all the help they got from the muppets in green and we still got up! Judd showed why he is still one of the best players to ever pull on the Navy Blue jumper (or any Jumper for that matter)! Duigan(4 big goals) was an inspired choice at the last minute kudos to Mclean for not playing underdone. Gibbs,Robbo,Jammo,Murph,Simmo,Robbie W and Hendo were great. What an awesome against it all win! Well done Blues to get up and win from a deficit of 5 goals that's why this Club is made for finals!!!!
