Wash yanks Perez after only mid 70 pitch count and retiring 8 straight for Ogando to come in give up a run and load the bases.

Another poor decision for mine

Indians 56-18 against teams .500 or worse.

Therefore 36-52 v teams >.500

Other playoff teams records v teams >.500

Tigers 48-40
A's 40-34
RSox 51-41
Rangers 36-38
Rays 46-46

Indians best record in 1 run games 30-17 and extra inn games 10-2

To sum up Indians had a bit of luck like the O's last year but that .500 record is way behind. Can't see them getting past the Red sox if they get past Rangers/Rays. But you never know in playoffs.
One thing I forgot to say yesterday, if all three clubs had finished on 91 wins I believe we would have been top ranked for the tie breaker based on our record against Rangers and Rays:)

Really disappointed to finish the year this early but we probably deserved and Price was great today.

Interesting doff season with needs to be filled with Nellie going on the open market! really happy wih the acquisition of Rios, I rate Garza but he was poor at the back end so it will be interesting to see what management does with this side.

I love that the Pirates and A's are both in the post season, 2 of the lowest 5-6 spending clubs in the majors and they are there.

Even without the Giants I'm really looking forward to the whole post season, should be epic.

Uggla left of the Braves roster for Playoffs. Gotta be a kick in the teeth for a bloke earning $13m. Fully deserved though, he has been putrid all year and stunk it up ever since ha came over to Atlanta.

On the opposite side, young pitcher named Hale is on the roster after playing 2 games. Some of the quirks in baseball i guess.

Think she is all over in Cleveland, 3-0 down:(

Long way to go, but Maddon don't give up 3 run leads.

Not going great for the Tribe so far - 3-0 down in the middle of the third. Salazar struggling a bit it seems.

He looks ok, but the Rays are after pitching great in the first 2 innings just waiting for the right pitch now.

He has alot of promise, but second time around they are highlighting his inexperience.

Even though he is struggling, I can't help but get excited about what he will be like in a year or 2 time, real potential there.

Yep. Even if it ends today, there has been a lot of great moments this season and I for one will be expecting nothing less than winning the AL Central next year.

Really need to get a run this inning, the longer Cobb pitches the more fleaxability Maddon has, and he will out manage you if he can pitch who he wants when he wants.
