Detroit's bullpen is rubbish. The scariest part of a Verlander/scherzer start is when they hand the pitching over to Benoit to close. Oakland almost came back in game 4, and it happened in Boston today.

Detroit have to be worried, 3 outs and 5 runs from the bull pen, all they needed was to hold onto a 4 run lead and get 6 outs. They are just so dependent on their starters.

Scherzer had them mesmerized so that ****ing shitcampaigner Leyland takes him off - it just doesnt make any sense to me at all. It was a highly paid Manager orchestrated choke of the highest order! (yes, I had money on the Tigers and don't know much about managing a baseball team)

Reckon the Ortiz grand slam should have been caught. Hunter took a bad route and over ran it. Great comeback though and not suprised Benoit gave it up, he just isnt a very good closer in my books.
