The only thing that precludes it from being defamation is the fact that it is true. You obviously don't spend any time in the nursery on derby day as you would have seen it with your own eyes.

If Liam Anthony wants to sue me for calling him a nowhere coward giblet squib then I'd be happy to go to court to illustrate the truth in my statement.

Defamatory libel is a very grey area my friend.

Perhaps you should ditch your dictionary for relevant statutes and peruse the common law defences and/or case studies, and maybe then you will understand that, perhaps somewhat vulgar, YOTR's comment along with mine, falls into a category of triviality with no malice, and so small in the grand scheme of things, that defamation is not evident.

You seem to know what you are talking about with your big legal words and what not.

Thus can i assume i can start being defamatory to players (Essendon) on Bigfooty and not get in any legal trouble. (Please be advised if you answer this i will NOT pay any form of invoice).

I do not advocate for defaming any public figure. Particularly on a forum. He is spot on there.

However, it's the same as Wellsfan taking a select few posters, who have in the past defamed (?) him by calling him out as a shit poster who bores everybody, to court.

His claims would get him nowhere. Making a big deal about commonplace comments on a forum is childish.
