I'm pretty comfortable with my team. More interested in Elite this year anyway, this is just a sideshow.

Just thought it was an interesting conundrum for many...

Swan. He is a filthy pig and there is nothing worse than watching swan get cheap shit points when he isnt in your team. GAJ I am unsure on, he is going to be spending a bit of time forward. Though he could easily become the best non kpp player at half forward in the game and tear up. Going to wait on GAJ but he will probably be in my team before the bye rounds.

Tough one, I really like Walker but unsure how consistent he will be as a scorer. Could be a great unique pick though.

Martin is very much the same, can go big one week, then do nothing the next. If Martin starts to give a damn on the field then I would be going him over Walker.

Last decision for me, really struggling to decide:

Embley + $472,100 forward (Maybe Martin / Bolton here)

OR

Moloney + Monfries

OR

Greene + Patton

I'm leaning towards Moloney and Monfries at the moment just because of the scoring potential that is there. Embley presents such great value but I'm unsure whether he will be back to his best after having a lot of last year out with injury and then the hammy in preseason as well. Would love to have Greene in my team but that would mean playing Patton/Mcaffer on the ground.

Thoughts?

Not really sure what Monfries is capable of to be honest which is the only reason I'd say Greene + Patton. Just reckon Embley is underdone and will cop a few vests.
And even I'm uncomfortable with that because I came on here to ask
Pendles + Patton (starting)
vs
Murphy + Varcoe

I know Patton will probably just hit up 50-60s quite often, but I don't see Varcoe doing much more than 70.

I would go Pendles & Patton.

Really unsure of Murphy this year for us. Whilst he could have a big year, I think he will cop the tag more and with the Captaincy as well, it remains a mystery what he will do. I feel like Pendles could have a big year this year after last years broken leg. Varcoe hasn't shown us much in preseason and I can't see him avg more than 60-70.

I've done some more fiddling around with my options and have these options now:

Moloney + Lewis/Martin/Bolton + Jones/Viney

OR

Embley + Lewis/Martin/Botlon + Whitfield

got broughton in at the moment, I promised myself last year that i would not get him, but at the suns, sitting on the half back line, he should rack up the +6's. Plus mybe injected into the middle as well. As long as they don't play him in the fwd line again, he should at least ave 90+
