$56,500 left. Work in progress. Thoughts? :)

I think its about as mirrored as everyone elses team, you'll be fine!

Morris is coming back from a major leg break and has never been a good scorer. Rivers is a waste of money for a player who will average 70. Taking massive risks in the forward line with 3 players coming back from injury and another who hasn't played a great deal of footy in the last 3 years. Team needs an overhaul.

Switched Knights for Cameron from GWS and Rivers for Bock from GC

Would be wary of the trio of injured players coming back in the forward line.
Keep a close eye on them over NAB and see how they go

I feel that your forward line could use some of that leftover salary cap. I will be watching most of those forwards form to see if there is an inclusion into my team. You are running the risk with some pretty inconsistent defenders aswell. Midfield is pretty strong but I'd move Goodes to the backline and bring in Ollie Wines.

What are your thoughts on my team? Obviously quite a few risks in there and not many mid-priced players. I've watched a lot of junior football so at this stage, I've gone tried and true premiums and then gun rookies. Like/dislike?

My rational for the access cash is to be able to turn a Caddy/Varcoe into Ablett as soon as he drops a little in price, and also as insurance against any other unforseen issues.
Last year i spent the whole cap to start and found it hard to trade out of trouble early. Cheers for the response though.

Invest in the right players and you'll make alot more money. If you have enough players that will be playing good footy, there will be a direct replacement waiting to come on. If not, the value of that player should be enough for a straight swap.

Picking Sylvia is SC suicide. Hardly any cash cows, it's as if you hope all these players step up to the plate so you hardly have to trade, which never works. A mid price team will see you pull mid ranged scores.

I see you point ,although for every rookie cash cow u also need someone to downgrade to. We have been spoilt in this regard in the last two years with GC and GWS, It takes much less money to upgrade a mid pricer to a premium providing they increase in price, hence a 250-300k profit on a rookie would be enough to turn two mid pricers into premiums, in contrast to having to pull a double trade and much more coin to get the same result with two rookie- Premo upgrades.

We will see how that works out for you then hey ;)

You have way too much cash left over. As stated previously, way too many mid-pricers, replace with some more rookies and premiums for better overall points production and cash production.

I vote this as well longytap

Like the backs and the rucks, however the mids and forwards could be improved a bit (especially with so much left over money).

I would downgrade caddy to a rookie, then use the money to upgrade a mid pricer or two

agree, wines is a no brainer at this stage.

500k in the bank is certainly overkill

Just scanned through but not much love for Deledio??? Well compared to previous years anyway. I know he's no longer a back but still he's extremely durable and constant.

At the prices and where they are in their careers, you would be mad to pick Lids over Cotchin. You wouldnt have both in your midfield either which means that Deledio will be in hardly any teams. He's more expensive than Cotchin too!
