I thought he was instrumental in that second quarter that actually won them the game, even kicked 2 goals. He was friggin everywhere. Almost as good as Stewie Dew's 3rd Q in 2008. Well deserved medal imo

In any case, Hawthorn won it, deserved to win it no doubt. We played the worst game that I've ever seen Sydney play. I'm going to be writing to the club asking for my admission fee to be refunded.

Hawks were very, very good and deserved the win but you have certainly given an accurate assessment of Swans today-what happened?-I can't work out how they were so bad. Have never seen a Swans team play like that-have you got any ideas? ( apart from Hawks pressure, game plan contributing etc) Did they all have the flu or something. Thought the tackle count at quarter time 23-7 how could that happen in a GF-you wouldn't even be that slack in a home and away game, let alone a GF. No desperation, no fighting back to Hawks physical pressure-just rolled over. Bizarre.

Fantastic win by the hawks. Not saying i am a believer in karma but the footy gods must have been watching over today,everything just seemed to bounce and go hawks way lol was brilliant. That's taking nothing away from Hawthorn though who put immense pressure on sydney. Simply no one would have beaten them today. Congrats on another flag and enjoy

Sydney had 7 tackles to quarter time, which is pretty astounding. Everyone stood off their man, trying to cover options but allowed the Hawthorn players so much time and space.

And can I say, big love to my man Stratts. He has a habit of doing big things in big games. Really is the best small/medium defender in the game right now. He's quick, he's strong and he is a great read of the ball in flight. Unflinchingly courageous too. Not the best disposal but at the same time he doesn't make too many mistakes either, really knows him limitations in that regard.

Out coached, Out played, Out Tackled, Out Pressured, Out Ran. Hawthorn were as brutal to the Swans today as the Rabbits were to the roosters last night. It looked like boys verse men. Hawthorn are just a sensational football team. I hate them with a passion but it was hard not to be impressed by today's performance, just sensational.

Ahhhh I was thinking the exact same thing... 5 mins left I was hoping for a few junk time goals to save face just as the roosters scored a few late consolation tries. Wasn't to be. I despise Hawthorn just like Souths but you can't deny that they are good. Bring on 2015 go Swans!

Hawthorn in 2012 played as good as they can Sydney were just better.
Sydney this year probably would have won if they turned up today(they were favourites for a reason) but stayed at home.

I don't know which one i'd prefer.
