think i read they struck 8 medals this year as its expected to be tight

They have 8 available with extras stuck over past years.

They normally produce 2 per year just in case of ties and the extras in case of ties or presented when the winner is interstate are the left overs from previous years. If it gets out to a large number like 8 or more they just produce the one. 2003 helped reduce the stock holdings on Brownlow's at the AFL.

It's great that our boys can't attend because we have a small matter of a game to prepare for this weekend.

But I miss our invited players taking along a teammate as their guest (except Jolly of course).

Swans culture. :)

And in before the Oxford St jokes.

Ablett can't win. He's only about 21 votes when injured. I have Kennedy on an optimistic 33 votes. Comfortable 25. I can see why the big plunge. Someone else has done the same numbers.

Ablett is comfortably on 24. There is no way the winner is more than 26, and considering Ablett's 30 votes in 2007 is one of the highest, I doubt someone is on 33. Not happening.

I like pendles as he's the shining light for the pies, not many team mates to steal votes off him this season (ie Dane Swan).

For the swannies I'm really interested to see how Parker polls, a bit of egg on face for the AA selectors will be nice.

JK's last 3 absentees for the season might just cost him, hope I'm wrong.
