You are betting against the other handicaps.
Wheres the market bud?
Thanks KP.

The market is at Ladbrokes and I was thinking there was some value in Selwood + 5.5 @ 2.90 and for the Gray enthusiasts in here "Any other player" + 6.5 @ 3.5 but might have to review it more later if it is against the other handicaps

Selwood is a lock for that isnt he?
Based on some of the counts in here it's gonna be pretty tight but he's certainly up there

JohnnyDrama:

Selwood 25 + 5.5 = 30.5
JPK 25 + 5.5 = 30.5

Ablett 23 Scr = 23
Fyfe 22 + 6.5 = 28.5
Gray 21 + 6.5 = 27.5
Lewis 20 + 6.5 = 26.5
Franklin 19 + 6.5 = 25.5
Cotchin 19 + 6.5 = 25.5
Pendlebury 17 + 5.5 = 22.5
Beams 17 +8.5 = 25.5
Priddis 17 + 9.5 = 26.5

HappyEagle:

1. J.Selwood 27 + 5.5 = 32.5
2. N.Fyfe 24* + 6.5 = 30.5
2. G.Ablett 24 Scr = 24
2. J.Kennedy 24 + 5.5 = 29.5
5. J.Lewis 21 + 6.5 = 27.5
6. T.Rockliff 20 + 6.5 = 27.5
6. S.Pendlebury 20 + 5.5 = 25.5
6. R.Gray 20 + 6.5 = 26.5

January Man:

J Selwood (Geel) 26 + 5.5 = 31.5
R Gray (PA) 26 + 6.5 = 32.5
G Ablett (GC) 23 Scr = 23
D Beams (Coll) 21 +8.5 = 29.5
J Kennedy (Syd) 20 + 5.5 = 25.5
S Pendlebury (Coll) 20 + 5.5 = 25.5

Phantom Brownlow has JPK to win..... I might just take this top 5 at 2.25 with tab...

the Phantom Brownlow is an interesting way they do it, taking media votes (herald sun, age, SEN) and the AFLCA votes. idea is good but then can come down to whether particular media people have a set to or against a certain team (Ashley porter normally does the port games and some of his votes are diabolically bad - gave kane cornes votes a few weeks back when he barely touched the ball nor tagged anyone significant). the phantom brownlow did tip 8 of the top 10 last year, which is a fair result though. this year they have it at

kennedy 26
selwood 23
ablett 22
fyfe 21
gray 21
franklin 19
priddis 19
pendlebury 18
lewis 18
cotchin 17

I thought Kennedy was more stand outish early in the season but its when polling dynamo Hanneberry was also dominating thus i reckon he gets alot of 2's instead of 3's early. Back half of the season i struggled giving him votes, his 30 possession games really started to have little impact on the game.

Hanneberry, Jack, Franklin, Mcglynn, Parker will make it bloody hard for Kennedy to win the count. He didnt stand out to me in games and id look at the stats afterwards and see him have 30-35

Just had a look at that. Could be interesting as the four media things they used all had different winners and one of those winners wasnt ablett either. Any idea where their results are for last year? I couldnt find it.

Robbie Gray won the SEN medal I believe

Here is my tally for the leading few players below. Happy to share my top few vote getters at each club via message if anyones interested in comparing.

Selwood 24
Kennedy 23
Ablett 23
Fyfe 20
Gray 20
Franklin 19
Pendlebury 18
Priddis 18

For the team counts i think there is value in Dangerfield (1.77), Gibbs (1.77), Beams (4.50), Ward (1.58), Tyson (2.80) and Libba (2.00).

You'd expect all the other counts i didnt mention to go to plan, but those players are just ones i see value in which could go either way.

Bulldogs, Dees and Giants are the toughest to call. Am interested in hearing peoples thoughts on those.

This is gold.

Kennedy at $2.25 with TAB and just got him laid at $2.10 on Betfair for a free crack at a small profit. I would be a lot happier had I got on at $2.75. I suspect the results of the phantom brownlow helped with getting laid at $2.10.

Anyone else think Libba should poll most votes @ WBD with a gap to Macrae?
Libba $2.50 @ Unitab seem pretty generous.
Bulldogs is really close.

I have seen three counts that have Mcrae winning. That includes the Phantom Brownlow, and another count on a private message board where up to ten people vote and we accumulate votes from every game to work out our 3-2-1.

i'm staying right away from Kennedy. Very good player no doubt but reckon he has to work so hard for his votes the risk isn't worth it. Umps are flat out looking at 100 different things i'm not sold that they see or recognise him shovelling a little handball out of congestion. Great stats and contested stats and supercoach points just worried he doesn't get noticed enough. Last 3 games will really hurt him when others finish like steam trains.
last 2 years 19 and 14 and has played way better this year.....Whereas the blokes everyone are talking up.....Franklin 5 votes last year....Gray and Lewis have never got double figures.....mmmmmmmmm

no votes in round 4 - that round I had 3 stevie j, 2 stokes, 1 bartel. that list above gives him votes in round 4
lol.....cool.....rnd 4 Stevie-j 3 votes.....geez I wish they would put that market up!!!!!!!! the people who have watched the gme and the REPLAY would make a killing with that market......after doing very well the last 5 years by WATCHING every game and REPLAY where I have doubts because of other peoples votes I will never do another brownlow count again if stevie j gets votes in front of Selwood here....Stevie-j's 37 possesions the worst game of his career I reckon, like watching an under 12's player......Selwood and Guthrie share the 3-2/2-3 in this game no doubt about it!!!!!

How did your 'free' Brownlow Genius work out...

its one of those games where I agree with the general consensus on his ball use that night, but think the umpires will remember sheer weight of possession (only stokes had more), plus 8 tackles,4 inside 50's and a goal, rather than how he always used it.
so the goal he sprayed to miss everything from 20 out and the set shot from 30 out that didn't make the distance you don't think the umpires would have noticed...lol.....

lol.....them #$$$@@'s are dodgy as...didn't think they give anything away for FREE....I wanted to know what they gave Stevie-j in rnd 4.....lmao

We get your point, you don't think SJ will poll more than 1 in round 4. I'm not sure how you can be so sure though, umpires sometime vote for who they see getting the ball a lot regardless of disposal. Let me guess, you had Swan on 20 votes in 2011 because he butchered it more than Judd and Pendles?
