Murray with 55 UEs. He played so bad, like he couldn't give a crap.

55 UE's?

Thats a good day out for me!

But seriously, Murray is on the nose for me. Thought he turned a corner in the Aus Open until he went back to his sooky self, and resorted to finding an excuse to lose, then harping on about Djokovic in his press conferences.

His performances against Simon and now Coric have been diabolically soft.

55 unforced errors in 16 games? How is that even possible?

Coric getting lucky with these big 4 victories. Nadal playing the worst match of his life with appendicitis last year + Murray spraying errors at a superhuman level yesterday. I suppose these wins are becoming more common and less prestigious as time goes on.

Coric will be the next big thing. Does all the basics really well and his movement/footwork is already world class. Once he gets stronger he'll be able to get a few more cheap points... watch out. Love his attitude as well, fierce competitor.

Coric v Kyrgios - will be interesting to see how their respective careers pan out

Got to say Tomic played really well. Still maintain he isn't fit enough, can match it big time for an hour to an hour and a quarter but after that he struggles. It is better than what it was, but against the really top players it shows.

Kei Nishikori vs Kevin Anderson is well underway.

Looking at live scores, Nishikori won the first set 6-2 which I'm a bit shocked about because Anderson for me plays an Isner like game (serving predominance) but is better than Isner in that he's a bit more attacking than Isner and a bit more consistent.

I know what I'm gonna get from Anderson more than I am Isner.

If Nishikori wins, he'll go to No. 4 which will be a career high and, if, for some reason, Rafa loses at Buenos Aires before the Final and Nishikori wins the Acapulco title, Kei will go to No. 3.

Also, hoping for Djokovic to beat Federer.

Djokovic vs Federer should be a cracker as usual. Probably Djokovic in 3, although I'd love to see Fed take it.

Nishikori vs Ferrer at Acapulco. Bad match up for Ferrer, so unless Nishikori puts in a shocker, I'll go with him in straights.

Also good to see Nicolas Almagro on the comeback trail after his ranking had drifted out to about 90. Easily defeated Robredo last night to reach the SFs in Brazil.

Crazy start to the year for Ferrer with 3 titles. His only loos coming to Nishikori in the 4th round of the AO.

Why don't the media salivate over Ferrer instead of Federer and Nadal?

Would rather that happen.

Ferrer is a phenomenally consistent player that deserves far more praise than he receives. His only downside is that he hasn't won a slam and never really looked like breaking through ahead of the big four despite his level of consistency in the past few years.

A great win by Federer against Djokovic in Dubai. It would definitely do Fed's confidence a world of good after an early elimination in the Australian Open this year.

Ferrer is stupidly consistent and hard working. Doesnt have the huge weapons or natural athleticism, but regardless of the score he fights to the end.

Someone strap Tomic to a chair and make him watch his games.

Federer played the big moments way too well in the final against the Djoker. Of the 9 break points in the match, Federer won all of them. Played such an attacking match and it paid off. Got to the net before Djokovic could settle into a rally and hit to his (relatively) dodgy backhand in a baseline exchange.

Del Potro has apparently accepted wildcards for both singles and doubles at Indian Wells next week. As much as I'd love to see a fit and healthy Delpo back on the tour, it just seems too soon...again.

Anyone watching the tennis tonight?
Bit of controversy at the end of the Garcia-Lopez/Rosol match.
G-Lopez refusing to shake Rosol's hand at the net after the match, crowd booing.

What did Rosol do to irritate Guillermo?
