Pretty sure it was delayed by the Adelaide Oval deal, that pushed everything back.

Edit: My mag was correct surname wrong first name.

The reason was the delay in the transport levy arrangment, which mean prices were increased and then the crows put out their membership packages on the back of it, has seemed to take a while though, not sure why the cards take a month longer than the hats and packs. Easier if it was all at once i would've thought.

my guess is that any hat will do but you have to send the exact card to a person, they probably get the cards back from the printer in a big box and have to sort them individually by the number to send to the right person. So for the gear its grab a cover letter, grab a postage bag, chuck in merch send, no searching to be done. When they send a card they grab the cover letter, then have to flick through 60,000 cards to find the exact one, put it in the envelope and send. It's a bit harder so it takes longer.

Our Tickets last year arrived around the 20th March only 9 days before Showdown XXXVI.

If they don't arrive ring the club next Monday and they will email/send you out a ticket for Round 1 with the bar code on it.

No big deal.
 
As much as I don't want the club to get involved in the membership pissing contest, I am now getting sick of seeing the Port flogs flooding social media with crap like "The Pear are no 1 club in sA 11!!! sux in youse Crowz customers". I actually now just want to see Fagan come out and expose that erroneous 57k figure that was reported on the AFL website to shut them up once and for all.

We'd have a mailing house that would handle that, right? I hope we've worked out who's fault it was, and if theirs we don't use them again.

The mailing list would come from the club though - the mail house would only print what was supplied to them (many refuse to alter lists for this reason - covers their arse when a privacy breach like this happens).
 
My daughter has an eleven wait list membership ( yea shes a bandwagonner :p, because i pushed her )

Just been told she wont get a seat this year. All good. She doesn't care, i had a really positive conversation with her, and i held a heavy sharp axe over her head. It went something like this.

" Yes Dad!!!! I'm a Port Adelaide member for life now "

The club told me that it was a screw up by the mailing company. They were fuming because it's created another headache and more phone calls when they're already getting hammered about the tickets.

I'm guessing they won't be using them again any time soon.

I'm a tad surprised by that. Reckon the club will be doing the list in-house in future.
