What is it with all the Port Trolls that are obsessed with posting on our page??

I haven't been over to their page for 12 months, I was scarred for life. Its like going to another dimension where No means Yes an Up is Down!

Well any membership over $50 for any club are counted in the number. So the only ones not counted are your Birthday Club, Pet Memberships, but the ones counted include the Crow Baby and Boundary Line Memberships etc.

Just doing some simple maths.
43,000 + 8,000 would total to 51,000 11 game members leaving room for very few others such as 3 game members, and that is obviously not the case.

22 game SANFL members are counted by both clubs, and so they should.

That's not what I was asking. The other poster said Adelaide were counting SANFL members, which implies that they are counting Centrals, Eagles, Glenelg, North, Norwood, South, Sturt and West members as AFC members.

I think you've got yourself confused. There are no SANFL members at Adelaide Oval.

He has already, and quoted us at 60,200, so glad to see the facts are still being incorrectly reported. Only 130 odd down on the actual number, tosser.

I reckon he is gonna come out now and say what's the use of 60k members when the AO ONLY FITS 53k.

Weather or not SMA members are counted (and why wouldn't we), we have huge 11 game support. Last year only 2,229 of our members were non-access compared to 8,600 for Port. Our reduced access memberships (3 games) is I believe about half of theirs and revenue from memberships 3 million dollars higher. I would guess that our member acquisition/marketing cost is a lot less as well

11 and 3 game memberships have little to do with stadium capacity as they are not guaranteed entry.

That said it seems both clubs are doing well so thats good and the move to AO has been great for supporters of both teams.

Still don't have mine. I e-mailed the Club, and was told that if it hasn't arrived by Wednesday, I should ring them, and they'll print out a copy of my ticket for me to pick up at the Oval on Sunday.

I would hope that it would be there waiting for me.

Such a hassle. I dont wont to have to stress about a ticket on our first game, just want to enjoy the game.

Yes, I'll be stressed having to go to the game, hoping there's a ticket waiting for me! Let's hope it's handled better next year.

But Port count magpies members so then the AFL will audit your figure downward as happened last year.
