GG they dropped the 3rd QB rule. Can be 46 regardless of QB number
Yup, 46 active players on game day - only 7 sit out. It's been that way for a few seasons now.

ESPN Giants reporter Dan Graziano told Sirius XM NFL radio that some in the Giants organization believe Jason Pierre-Paul (hand) will miss the entire season.

Per Graziano, Pierre-Paul may be missing more of his right hand than has previously been suspected. Nobody has seen JPP's hand except those close to him and the Giants, but there was a picture floating around the internet shortly after his Fourth of July fireworks incident that showed more damage than was being reported. For JPP, "best-case scenario" may be playing half the season.

Why don't 7 air the Monday night games? Would think they would especially want to air Vikings @ 49ers

I find this ongoing lack of awareness Australians have of how television rights work strange when our sports make such a big deal out of it.

They don't show MNF because they didn't buy the rights to it in their package! I doubt ESPN's US-exclusivity is even relevant - it's just that ESPN Aust/NZ bought exclusive rights to MNF.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Seahawks and holdout SS Kam Chancellor are only $900,000 apart in contract talks.

In real-world money, that's obviously a huge gap, but that's couch-cushion change in the NFL. Chancellor reportedly simply wants his 2016 salary bumped up with some guaranteed money kicked into it; he has no issues with his 2015 pay. The Seahawks aren't budging, but things can change quickly and likely will.

****, Quick was supposed to be in for a good year.
Still got Britt, Austin, Bailey and Cook as receivers and Cunningham is good enough to force Stacey to get traded.

Mason was viable as Gurley is out. Would of had a top 12 week if he was healthy.
