Guys listen up,

I heard PK has been sick with the flu over the last week or so. Today he ran whilst sick suffering gastro last night. Im sure thats the reason to why he didn't run well today. From all the talk his fitness has improved and is faster and stronger. There is no doubt in my mind that this gastro had a major effect on him today. Gastro isn't a great thing and obviously will have a significant amount of effect when running. The club knew he was sick however PK insisted that he wanted to run. This just goes to show that it takes pure character and will do anything and everything possible to get better and improve even when not at 100%. The last two months PK has shown how much faster he is and stronger. Todays run has no reflection of the hard work and effort that is being put in each session!
Thanks for sharing mate, hopefully that will silence his critics :)

That's good news

Yeah there was a picture of him a little while ago where he was running topless and the guy looked super fit and cut. You don't get like that without putting in the work.
I am feeling positive about PK. I think he may be one of the players next year who steps up and pleasantly surprises many of us.

So i was right then there could of been something wrong with him hey kappa :) are you sure you are a cats man
yes i am a cats fans thru and thru, however i no one of his cousins well and was on the phone with him tonight and he told me how sick he was today and could not run due to the gastro!!!

'The top 20 was something like this: Sidey, Freeman, Armstrong, Varcoe, Manteit, Crisp, Adams, Young, Keeffe, Seedsman, Pendles, Fasolo, Ramsay, Tooves, Da Goey, Blair, Goodyear, Elliott, Sinclair, Maynard.' Nicks Collingwood Bullet

Great to see Seedsman and Fasolo running well in the time trial, if those two can remain fit and have a big preseason they could make a big difference to the side. I would like to see Seedsman moved to the wing where his foot skills can really pick apart opposition defences. Disappointing not to see Kennedy and Thomas featuring in the top 20, still early days i guess, plenty of time to rectify their fitness.

Looked like Kennedy was close to last with the big guys, pretty poor showing considering he's had no injuries or operations and should be hungry to make a spot in the 22.

A midget who can't run, great...
Wasn't that Josh Thomas?

Both of them, although Thomas had some surgery after that mugging(not sure that would affect his running). I remember Knightmare saying just after we drafted him he didn't think Kennedy would be any more than a slight upgrade on Blair, looking pretty good in "Knightsight".

Looks like he spends more time looking in the mirror than putting in the hard yards.

He was looking like a shot late in 2013. Last year just not good enough and didn't impress when he got the opportunity. With Ball and Beams out of the side, there is an opening, he will have to impress early in the season or I think he is essentially finished at collingwood. With Adams, freeman, greenwood, degoey, Kennedy all vying for a couple of spots, and other taller mid chances like karnezis, crisp and Maynard, plus talk of giving Elliot, Williams and fasolo midfield time, JTs chances are slipping away.

Didn't I read last year Kennedy had to have some sort of surgery before last season to correct compartment syndrome which was effecting his endurance? Would that still be impacting him (his tank was apparently the reason he was played as a sub so often last year)?

Welcome to Bigfooty PK! ;)

Yeah that's right last year, was interviewed a couple of months back saying how he was ready to attack this pre season, give it his all as his body was 100%. At his height, being a poor runner and having a lack of an outside game, I can see a few lads going past him if he doesn't extract the digit.

Don't understand all the hate for Armstrong. He performed well when he played in the 1s
There's a big difference between hate and being realistic.

If Armstrong was anywhere near best 22 he wouldn't have been downgraded to the rookie list.

With Abbott it looks like they grabbed one of us off the street to play with the Pies. Love it!

He has cult hero written all over him!!
